Websites listed under "Shop" at the top of this page advertise on CAG in exchange for CAG getting a small percentage of anything bought through that link. Most links that get posted on CAG will automatically do the same (not exactly sure how that works, someone else can figure that out), but buying online using the "Shop" feature on CAG helps keep this site running smoothly and allows for better deals for CAG's via special CAG offers.

It's a good thing. :)

I was wondering about that. Lately every other person in the Play Asia $5 off $50 thread has been asking people to use their own links. Maybe it's time for a refresher notice?

It really doesn't matter...their links will automatically convert to CAG links after they submit the post.

Edit: ah, i see people were using tinyurl to circumvent that...naughty naughty...fixed.
