Agetec Dreamcast Arcade Sticks... [No More Requests]

I've recently discovered (just yesterday) a warehouse near me (well, half an hour away) that has dozens and dozens of Agetec Dreamcast Arcade Sticks. If you do not know what these are, these are basically considered the best DC stick commercially released. Anyway, I bought 11 sticks hoping to have at least one stick work for me...lo and behold, 8 of the 11 sticks that I tested worked! I haven't tested the last 3 because they're still in my car. Anyway, they come with their original boxes (most of them have barcode stickers and whatnot on them) and some of them even have the original plastic wrapping that covers the stick itself. The warehouse sells each stick for $10 each.

The lone DC stick picture I took of was one without the plastic wrap on. That's just to show that each one of these sticks are in like-new condition. For everyone's information, I only have 1 DC stick that is "new" and the other 5 just comes with the box. Someone already bought a "new" stick so it's first come, first serve. If you want to hold out for another stock of "new" sticks, then you'll have to wait until Tuesday.

Oh, and for payment, I accept Paypal, money order, check (must clear first) or concealed cash. You're more than welcomed to put one on hold if you know you're going to pay me sometime soon. And if you want, maybe we can do a trade. I'm mainly looking for Dreamcast games at the moment, but I will check lists.
 
Are these refurbished sticks? Just asking because you said that some of them don't have the original plastic warp that covers the stick and it's strange that all the sticks you got didn't come like this.
 
Well, I'm pretty sure the ones with the plastic wrap/original boxes are new. There are no flaws whatsoever or any kind of markings on the stick (top, bottom, buttons, etc.). As for the others, I'm not sure if they're refurbished. All I know is that they do work as my brothers and I were testing them out playing a few matches in Soul Calibur and Marvel vs Capcom. I know the information I'm giving is vague and doesn't clearly answer your question. I'll take pictures soon enough...
 
I'll buy one off you, but you'll have to put it on hold. I got a few other things to buy with this CC sale coming up and all. Would you mind?

Can I get dibs on one? I'd like to see if there are any new ones left, but I'm probably going to get one even if there aren't any left.
 
Out of curiosity and slightly off topic, are there any adapters that would allow this to be hooked to a PC or an Xbox?

I only play fighters on the DC once in a blue moon since my fighting friends have moved on and the friends I have left don't touch fighters.

If so I will by 2 of them! If not then maybe just 1.

I tried this myself with a Magic Box converter for Xbox and it doesn't work. The L & R buttons on the stick are digital so they don't map over properly.

Socheta, you can definitely put me down for one if you get more. I already have one of these sticks but they are so nice, I wouldn't mind having an extra one for the collection.
 
Hey there Socheata...remember me :) If you can, hold two for me (one for me and one for my friend) My DC stick is a little worn down as of late and I need it to bust out some Giant Gram goodness. PM me if you need to as well (as I might have some things for trade if you're interested including some import PS2 games and I do have a lot of DC games as well)

Just because I'm selling them for $25 each and bought them at $10 doesn't mean I'm going to trade a stick for something that costs as little as that. Seriously...

Hmm...would it make you feel better if I hadn't said anything about it and auctioned every stick off on eBay? Yet, here I am on CAG trying to help anyone out that doesn't want to pay double/triple of what this stick is going for.

For everyone's information, I'm not taking in any more requests. I have a HUGE list (I have buyers from this site and another site that I frequent) and that list grows everytime I check in. Anyway, come Tuesday, I'll try to get as many sticks as I can to accomodate those that asked for one (or 5 :?).

Lastly, I apologize if I can't reply to your PM. My PM box is bombarded with a ton of messages.

socheata is giving u guys a great deal and no one should be bitching at all, i'm surprised he found a warehouse that is selling this shit, if i didnt have 2 myself i wouldve requested 1 from him, these joysticks are great quality and it might even cost more to ship then $10, u can feel the weight of the sticks, top quality IMO

Interested in one if someone backs out. Rather, my boyfriend is. Wants a new toy to play with his Dreamcast. Immediate paypal payment, should you have one for us. We've been looking for a good stick forever. :3
 
Socheata what's the deal man? I sent you 2 pm's trying to get your paypal addy to buy my stick and you never replied. Hope you didn't sell mine.... :cry:
 
I meant to update on this thread, but didn't for a few reasons. Anyway, I was trying to grab more sticks last week, but it turns out, someone had gotten there before me. Not really arrive at the warehouse but whoever the buyer was, they had put a reserve/deposit on ALL of the sticks that were available. :? He/she was suppose to pick up all the sticks on Wednesday, so the worker there told me that I can call him on Thursday to see if the buyer went through or not. If he/she didn't, then I'll be able to buy as much as I want. I didn't want to post that information here in hopes that if that buyer was lurking/browsing CAG, they wouldn't be alerted as to what may happen to their reserved stock. Thursday came and the buyer went through. Damn. The worker then told me to call him tomorrow (Friday) because they're suppose to have another pallet of DC sticks coming in. I called him on Friday and someone (maybe the same person from before?) had put a reserve on those sticks as well! Seriously... I guess he/she struck a deal with the boss of that warehouse or something. I don't know. I just know that any chance of me nabbing any more sticks is unlikely. Unless, of course, I win the auctions the warehouse has up for grabs.
