Akai Katana - $10 used @ Gamestop

Just went to my local Gamestop and saw that the new copy of Akai Katana they had was converted to used for $10.

Just last week it was $25 at my store, the employees must not have changed the price on it yet. I saw a previous thread for the game for $15 a while ago. Oh well.

Does this game give you infinite lives from the start (like Deathsmiles)? Or, at the least, is there any way to disable it in the options?
