NEW DEPUTY LEADER FOR AL QAEDA


Al Qaeda chiefs in Iraq say they have appointed a new deputy leader after Abu Musab al Zarqawi was wounded.

In a statement posted on an Islamist website they said he would take charge until Zarqawi had recovered from his injuries.


The statement said: "The leaders met after the wounding... and decided to appoint a deputy to assume the leadership until the return of our Sheikh safely."

It could not be immediately verified.

Jordanian Al Zarqawi is the man been behind the attacks on Coalition forces and Shi'ites following the Iraq invasion.

He is also thought to be personally responsible for beheading a number of hostages, including Briton Kenneth Bigley.

Fox News reported at 3:30AM EDT that it is believed Zarqawi was shot and had a lung wound from the gunshot. There is almost nothing worse than a sucking gunshot wound as far as treatability. If he has one of those in a lung he's all but dead, even in the best ER's a wound of this type has extremely high mortality rates.

This kinda reminds me how everyone thought that Osama was undergoing kidney dialysis in some other country. I'll believe it when he's dead.
 
The sad thing is, killing one top official will lead to another. It will have to be a mass killing for the terrorists to lose.

I think terrorist should be treated like zombies, get all living people the fuck out of there and quarantine the zombies so they can be exterminated.

What always amuses me about zombie movies is two fold.

1. A pregnant woman always gets nicked by one which leads to her death in child birth and a resulting zombie baby.

2. There is always one poor fool who gets bitten trying to help one of the undead.

I am shooting for the head at the first sign of zombie-ness.

There's also the jock/security guard that everyone hates that dies the most horrible death too.

You know what threw the whole zombie movie "rules" out the window? Sean of the Dead.

I thought it was hysterical that at the end of the movie his buddy/zombie was still playing PS2.
