This thread is reserved for any whining you'd like to do or arguments you'd like to involve yourself in. The strike system still applies, so keep it civil, but I suppose we do need a place for this. And if you'd like to just avoid the thread completely, you're a better man for it.

I don't understand the point of making all these threads when mine would have been just fine for this matter.

I know Led locked the thread, I was just quoting shrike to respond to his message. Locking these threads is pointless and is just creating more clutter.

yours was malicious in nature, this one is not. if you really, truly can't see or acknowledge the difference or why it bothers anybody, then....well, then i don't know what to say.

It was malicious in no way, and it doesn't bother shrike one bit, he said so himself.

I was merely responding to his post from part four of my series, which shouldn't have been locked in the first place because everything was going along fine.

If you can't provide me with an actual reason for locking my threads, then I see no reason for me to stop making them.
 
because they bother me. this is a forum i usually enjoy, and a safehaven from the rest of CAG, which gets out of a hand a lot. seeing antagonizing shit in here gets really old, and i'm tired of it. whereas i can't control what goes on anywhere else, i can keep this forum as conflict free as possible. and i think i'm speaking for most people here when i say it's one of the more tolerable forums around, until recently at least.

I think its because you aren't giving us any reason besides a "Because I said so." attiude. I understand its a nice place to go where everyone can get a long. Thats why having people like Shrike and sj41 in here doesn't help.

so, you're basically saying as long as there are people here who you don't particularly like, you're going to start fights, bicker and whine about it? is that really the level of maturity that we're at? there is not point to it, it's childish, it's annoying, and it makes frequenting the forum and playing with either clan that much less fun. what the fuck is so hard about that?
 
also, if sticky doesn't explain himself (craven is taking care of that) for that diatribe in the other thread, he's definitely got a strike against him.

I wont comment on the contents of your threads. but the sheer number of them is what was annoying me. plus they contained someone's name. this is far superior in that it's sticky, we dont need to lock it, and we can bitch about anything. like why the fuck Arby's put fruit in a chicken salad sandwich. It does. Its not well thought out and probably one of the worst desicisions made in this clan(s). I mean if we are so mature, why do we need such childish rules? Instead of talking this out like adults with open minds and respect we are just telling people to shut up. Instead we should get rid of the people who are being disruptive to the two clans getting along. And not get rid of them by waiting for them to commit some stupid 3 strikes rule, but by having some balls and kicking them the fuck out.

Rock hit the nail on the head right there folks. If you guys were all so mature, there would be no need for the new rules. Sticky seems to have calmed down, and shrike is working on something with rock at the moment. So hopefully the immature bs that has gone on for the last week or so will be done. And hell, who knows, I may pop on Halo 2 tonight, but then again I may not.

You know what pisses me off. Dirty Spammers on Halo 2. If you want to get in the game, just message Craven. I am not sure if he cares but he is who I always get to invite me. He is very prompt and will not leave ya hanging.

Not sure I catch your drift, mang. Are you saying it bothers you to get messages from other clan members asking for invites? Would you suggest we don't use the "Message Clan" feature, and instead just ask the overlord/staff member in the game for an invite?

yea something like that. I was just away for a week and I had to spend 20 minutes cleaning out my friend/clan list of invite messages. Some may think that this is stupid but I just get irritated. Then again, the feature is allowed for members so I guess it is ok. Just wanted to bitch I guess.

Not at all. I mean, that bitch should've brought your drinks, like, 20 minutes ago and shit. If anything, the CAG Halo 2 clan is less civilized than the norm when actually playing Halo 2. I just meant in this here forum, with the grammar and sentence structure and the flavin.
