all espn video games for $9.99 2004 and 2005

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Sounds like a great deal. Too bad I don't really drink that much soda.

it looks like i am going to have some days where i stop drinking martinis and i start drinking coke and rum.....you rock!

Thanks man, I need a new baseball game. I gotta tell my mom to look for that ESPN logo when she goes to the grocery store. This promotion rocks.

Wow, thanks for the link. Now I can get NBA and NFL 2K5 for the price I would have just got NFL for.
I think the minumum price for the game is $29.99 though. I could be wrong.
Official rules say $19.95.

I'm with you on this one. Although I love coke, I'd rather just go the BB way with the GGC.
Wait, how is ESPN NBA Basketball 2K5 only $9.99? I'm pretty sure it's price is $49.99 before using tne codes.
Just so all of us here understand and to save this post from being filled with this question.

YES. 2K5,2K6 and maybe more are MSRP $19.99 United States Dollars.

if for some reason this has changed pm me so i can replace this post with an insult to my self, for being wrong.

this is a truly amazing deal but when you think about it, every sports game is the same game every year. so why charge the $50 when all you're giving me is an update, an expansion.
yes to make money, but Sega has decided that Madden fans aren't giving them a chance at high prices.

and Welcome to CAG, JPiper0414! Thanks for the deal too.

Last time I checked, which was a few moments ago, ONLY ESPN NFL 2K5 is $19.99. That other games, including NBA, NHL, and College Hoops 2K5 are all still $49.99.

Obviously many people in this post are mistaken.

Last time I checked, I didn't call somebody else an "asshole." I'm just pointing out the facts.

I hope the other sports games are $19.99. I was really looking forward to getting all the sports games this year at $15 a pop (GGC at BB).

Actually you can redeem the certificates at ebgames.com or at EB B&M stores. (Makes the deal a lot better IMO.)

http://www.cokesports.com/programdetails.jsp

Also interesting is this:
"Use your $10 discount certificate either online at EBgames.com (FREE shipping!) or offline at a local participating EB Store"

So it looks like when you use a certificate you'll also get free shipping from ebgames.com. Pretty sweet. $10+tax shipped.

I think I'll go ahead and cancel my pre-order from gamestop now

Also, look at WHEN you can use the certificates. It looks like it is month past the release dates on some. I know I will NOT wait for it for NFL, but possibly the other ones I might. I already have one coupon waiting to be used. Cannot PRE-ORDER either with it.

2005 ESPN NFL Football
You can use your $10 certificate on 2005 ESPN NFL Football beginning 9/9/2004.

2005 ESPN NHL Hockey
You can use your $10 certificate on 2005 ESPN NHL Hockey beginning 11/16/2004.

2005 ESPN NBA Basketball
You can use your $10 certificate on 2005 ESPN NBA Basketball beginning 11/30/2004.

2005 College Hoops
You can use your $10 certificate on 2005 ESPN College Hoops beginning 12/28/2004.

I went ahead & used one of my coupons for this year's ESPN NFL Football (Sapp on front).

You do get free EB Saver shipping when you enter the code.

$10.78 after tax.

I would just rather pay the extra $10 when 2005 comes out in August....

Actually, I don't want to wait a month after the release date to get the new one, so I used my $10 EB certificate from ordering Slugfest to pre-order that one for $9.99.

I've got to give EB props. I sent that rebate in late last week & got the $10 code in my email today. I also sent only a photocopy of my UPC & they had no problem with me not cutting up my box.

Very good catch, I did not notice that. Was 9/9 an original release date and it has since been pushed up? Probably not. I'll try to use a certificate (assuming I manage to get one) when the '05 NFL comes out and if they are going to stick to the not before 9/9 date I'll just GGC it at Best Buy. Makes this deal a lot worse, IMO

If anyone already has a certificate and wants to give it a shot. Try using it today for a pre-order of ESPN NFL '05 and see what happens.
