Is the first Ratchet still easy to find as a Greatest Hit? I haven't looked hard, but I want to get it and this might be the time to do so.

isnt it 10% off the difference not the price

20 -14.77 is 5.33 so it would only be an extra 53 cents ... now if you buy 10 that is an extra 5.33

Hey...completely unneeded hostility, buddy. Not everyone reads all of the deals or knows all of the tricks. I've bought maybe one or two games from Best Buy during my entire time on the site, and I've NEVER used a GGC. It's definitely reasonable to imagine someone who doesn't go to Circuit City very often...I'm surrounded by Best Buy and Circuit City stores, and I still don't go to them.

All Greatest Hits are on Sale at CC for $15.99.

$15.99 - 14.77 = 1.22 that means an extra 12 cents off on Greatest Hits. Still 53 cents off on player's choice or platinum hits.

Yea but it is still better than the GGC and it doesn't involve any of the extra work the GGC causes. Everytime I do it I have to physically walk out of the store and than come in and find a new cashier because they won't let me use it when I pick it up.

Yes thanks for the notice. However one thing I wanna caution everyone not to buy anything you wouldn't normally want right now. I mean you can get PH, GH, etc. for $15 all the time at Best Buy using the GGC. This is easier and saves you about a quarter so if you want the game now this is a good idea. But there's no need to go stock up on bad games (which some of them are) just because they're cheap.

That's not necessarily correct. Some stores are still stocking the silver-and-gree 2005 GGC with $5 off $19.99, and others aren't. Rumors of them completely disappearing are unfounded not confirmed.

Actually, you're wrong on another level. Some Gamecube GH games actually still retail for $29.99 so this is an even better deal on those games than using a GGC.

That is such a good point, often ..... very often I've bought crap games because they were cheap, and I never play them. Instead of by three crap games for $14 I should have bought one good one for full price.... So be cautious. No impulse buys people!
 
Man, watch when I go there today, the gh/pc/ph section will be cleared out and the leftovers will be games like Simpsons Road Rage or some other licensed turd. That happened to me before when I tried to take advantage of that B2G1 deal at TRU last month.

I stopped into Target (Clark, NJ) this morning and they had a full selection of PH/GH/PC games in stock. I managed to grab NFL Street and Smackdown:HCTP in original black cases.
 
As a newbie who's been here a few months but has had little time to read the boards, I appreciate the information on the advertisement, as I now will get Ratchet and Clank 2, Jak II, Kingdom Hearts and probably a couple others.
I would have posted in the wrong place also. It's confusing to me. If you post it in the other thread, which is much longer, will a mod deem it appropriate for the main post? Seems to me it will be lost information. Guess that's what makes me a newb....

I went to Target today and try to pick up Mario Golf. IT rang up as $20, and the cashier had to change it by hand. I think this means that games like GTA double Pack or SMBM can get price adjust.
