stay far away from heatseeker...

I picked it up for $12 from gamefly, and I was so terribly disappointed. I couldnt believe how crappy the graphics were, and the game itself was reminiscent of top gun for the PS1. Really bad...
How is Monkey Ball? I thought the one on Gamecube was fun.
I also enjoyed the GC versions...but did not like this one. I hated the look of the game, and the Wiimote controls were not as fun/good as the standard GC controller was.

Careful with that Golden Compass, it isn't just teh suck. Not only is it the only Wii game I've had crash on me, it's the loudest crash you'll ever hear. Like painfully loud.

In all my years of gaming, it's the only bad game that, seriously, physically hurt me.

i agree. super monkey ball 1 is still my monkey game of choice. you might as well get that one because its BC.

im a little tempted with sonic, is it worth the 19, it looked decent but i havent played it.

I thought it looked like a decent arcade shooter, myself, but I hear the controls were too overloaded.

I got Heatseeker for $14 shipped from gamefly and felt like it was worth every penny, and in fact felt like I would have been perfectly happy paying more. It's a great arcade-style shooter. It's certainly not very difficult, but the controls are fine and it's a really fun way to kill 10-15 minutes. It's not as "free" feeling as the Ace Combat series, but aiming with the remote feels so natural (as it does in every game - I'm terrible with analog sticks).

Most of these are only about $1 off retail and have been on clearance a lot of places, but for free shipping and no tax it's not a bad deal if there was one you really wanted. Yes, deepdiscount has slow shipping. But it's free.

i bought it for $20 on black friday. its really worth it. The mini games on it are decent.
Where's the "2 dozen" coming from? Are there more than what's listed in the OP, or are they just not worth mentioning (they suck)?
because it was taken from "that other site" but he missed one word, "almost" two dozen.
How is Monkey Ball? I thought the one on Gamecube was fun.
I loved the Gamecube version. I really did. I was so excited that I bought Monkey Ball on day one (Gamecube AND Wii)..but I was disappointed.
However
For less than $20, Monkey Ball is worth a purchase.
This.
It's not bad, but it's $20 good.
Sorry if this is flaming, but i gotta say it:

There's a reason they're only $20 xD
Sonic & The Secret Rings is pretty awesome.
And yes your right, the reason is because they are older games.

Older games? HA! About 90% of them are pure garbage, some are ok like Prince of Persia, Sonic, and Monkeyball but the rest is licensed crap and bad games

But they are still older games.

Wow! You played them ALL? For someone with such an obvious distaste for "licensed crap" and "bad games", that's impressive. You must really like to do your homework when you formulate an opinion.

For those who would like to try some of these games (and yes, some of them are enjoyable) and you have access to a Costco, this appears to be essentially the same batch of games Costco places in their $15.99 section. Selection varies by store though, so call ahead - they can check. If you have sales tax in your state though, deepdiscount is probably going to be your best bet once you factor in tax, gas and time.

You guys know what does not suck? Ted Danson's hair. Seriously. Take a snapshot of it at any moment in history and it is better than the sum of your entire existence. Mine too.

Also, some of the games on this list do not suck. Why am I letting myself be baited like this? A headache and too much self-medication, presumably.

Yes but most of them do. Most of these games aren't even worth $19. You're better off paying a bit more for a much better game
