All original credit goes to punkprincess for pointing out this sale. I just wanted to start a thread with more information that I was sure would be constantly updated.

This is an in-store sale and the games will most likely be marked at these prices and in a big bin. Some of them are good for the buy 1 get 1 half-off orange tag sale that is also going on at KB right now. There are many other games that are at these prices, but this is what your fellow CAGs have confirmed and remember seeing so far. Happy Hunting.

Was there anything left at the Toy Works in Cuyahoga Falls? I might make a trip home this weekend, but if there's nothing left I'm not gonna bother.
 
I just came back from the KB Toys in Johnson City, NY at the Oakdale Mall.

They had a few games up front on a table that weren't even part of the clearance, but orange tagged. I picked up Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (GBA) for $10, so I'm happy.

They had Yoshi Topsy Turvy, Spider-Man (GCN), Sword of Mana, and some other misc junk on a shelf behind the counter, but that was about it. Kinda sad, but I really wanted M&L Superstar Saga, so no complaints. ;D

I also went next door to EB and picked up a copy of The Matrix Online for free, so that was cool.

Trying to decide if I want to go. These clearance deals always get me excited, and then I get down there and there is NEVER a SINGLE clearance game. Ever. :(

I just got back from the Freehold NJ store, which was not completely wiped, but I did get most of the last good games. Came out with:

I was shocked about the sealed PS1 games because most PS1 games were opened, they've had them since their original launches as far as I know.

Oh yeah, and if anyone wants to trade, I'm not particularly attached to any of these aside from Gaiden, so feel free to drop me a PM (though I know my list isn't that desirable)

picked up arc the lad twilight for $5 !!! and medal of honor frontline for xbox..ONE DOLLAR!! :D!!

There was a FIFA 2002 game from EA at my KB that isn't on the list, making my contribution for measure.

My KB had a buy 1 orange tag item, get 2nd at 50% off, so I was able to pick up FF1&2 (GBA), Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, Onimusha 2, and Red Dead Revolver for $23.85 total.

A lot of the games were display, opened games so I didn't think about picking those up. and there were tons of LOTR: Two Towers and Harry Potter games.
 
Wow, I'm a magnificent dumbass. I read the thread super quickly and ended up going to fucking K-Mart. Stupid, stupid, stupid--got a couple games at the nearby EB, so it wasn't a total waste, I guess. The nearest KB is like a 30 minute drive away, so I'm kinda leary about making the trip on a gamble like this. If I go, I'll go tomorrow, since I've got no school or work.

The kb at the mall i went to had shit for games, what a waste of time. wish i could have gotten jungle beat , donkey konga and mario TYD
 
Picked up Warioware, Inc. (GC), LoZ: Minish Cap, The Thing, and Metal Arms.

They also had a Dragonball Z Budokai 3: Limited Edition Box Set for $10. Is that worth picking up?
 
I believe this sale had the hoarder(s) in NJ. (If it was the TRU sale, the hoarder(s) were even stupider than I thought.)

From Shipwreck's opening list of games, I saw 29 items that could be possibly resold on eBay for a respectable profit.

I wonder when the person(s) spending $12K will realize they made a huge mistake.

Dumping a bunch of games on eBay will only cause market saturation and result in failed listings or lower winning bids.

Putting them in a store window in lower traffic areas will not magically cause sales unless you have very small markup.

I know a lot of CAGs are pissed because New Jersey got wiped out, but this guy will probably be on the end of a rope when he/she figures out Soul Calibur 2 (XB) just isn't going to sell for more than $5.

Like most clearance sales, only 10% was dramatically underpriced. The other 90% was at a break even point or still overpriced.

Also got a kick out of the only GBC game I saw V.I.P. to which I passed since it was $5 I was surprised I though it would have been $1 lol Awsome sale I was very happy to get the last Jungle Beat with Bongos.

Only thing that could have made this sale better for me was if I knew what all games were orange tag eligible I would have picked up a display copy of Mario Golf Advance if I could have gotten it for $5 pair up with Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

Went to another Kbtoys at the Woodfield mall today. Managed to score World Tour Soccer, Dynasty Warriors PSP, and tried to get THUG 2 Remix, but it wasn't part of the clearnance I guess at this Kb... Oh well, I made out great. Thanks again for these great deals.
 
Went to my KB in Oxnard, CA today...nothing. There were 3 empy PSP slots, which could have been the games. There was a small bin with some random crappy PS1/GBC/PS2 games....passed.
 
Checked out 3 KB Toys today.
1st one didn't have a bin, just a small selection up front.
2nd one didn't even have ANY games for these prices.
3rd one had a bin out, but not any good games. :\
 
kind of going off topic! I was at walmart in line getting money order, some guy walked in with UFC probably got it with the UFC/Tactics bundle and returned just UFC for 49.99! lol
 
The only decent things they have at the local KB were three Ford Racing 2(Crap)/Gran Turismo 3 bundles for $5 and one copy of Soul Caliber 2(PS2) for $5. I *might* pick that last one up tomorrow, if it's still there.
 
Arcadia one had Polarium x2 Bought both one for me and one for a friend. 4x copies of Pac Pix, rest was crap, but that $5 pack of games gets $10 trade in credit at GS , so I made 5 bucks, not bad since it's in the same mall I work at.
