If you are looking to pick up Knocked Up, Evan Almighty, or Chuck and Larry this is a pretty good deal. They are about $11.99 each.

Hopefully this isn't listed somewhere and I'm double posting it. It's the equivalent of a BOGO though so I am surprised that it hasn't been posted.

Edit: Ouch on the thread title. Apologies. This deal is NOT on blu-rays, and was a mistake on my part for saying so.

You may want to replace "blu-ray" with DVD in your thread title (unless that is what you meant on your edit). Decent deal, but those titles are only available on DVD and HD-DVD.
 
Haha, seriously! My hopes got up, and then I saw that they weren't Blu-Ray, which this is NOT a great deal just for regular DVDs. I hate crap like this that's posted on here!

People, DO YOUR RESEARCH before you make these threads, then make them CAREFULLY!
 
Oh, and fix your spelling too. The plural of "comedy" is "comedies". "Comedy's" implies that the comedy owns something.

I apologize for this thread however. I hopped on Amazon before going to bed last night. I was looking under blu-rays and saw a 60% off deal and without looking thought that it was for blu-rays hence the reason I put it in the title.

I am a lurker/noob that was trying to post what I THOUGHT was a good deal. However, it wasn't. My apologies to all, although I don't quite understand the hysteria that comes after someone makes a mistake. It takes a person at a maximum of 1 minute to read the thread and figure out it's a mistake. I would refund your 1 minute if I could.

Sorry, let me clarify. The "ouch on the thread title" was me saying that I realized after posting that comedies was messed up.I wasn't aware that they weren't blu-rays until this morning.

Thanks for the nice comment. I will be much more cautious with any future threads. It was just a rush job done before getting into bed.

You need to edit the original post (and title if possible), to reflect that these aren't BD. Although this will most likely be locked or deleted soon anyway.
 
Eh, it's not that bad of a deal. I bought Knocked Up for $17.99 just a few months ago. Then again, maybe I got gypped ;-)

And we're talking DVD here right? Well, either way, you paid too much (IMO), but that's one of those titles I wouldn't pay more than $5 for on DVD, $10 on BD/HD-DVD. Luckily my parents got it for me for Christmas; I believe they paid $25 for the BD but got a second free, so $12.50, a reasonable price I suppose.
 
is it me, or are the BR prices going up on amazon? i remember when Casino royale was 19.95 2 months ago. now it's 26.95! is this what happens when HD-DVD loses? damn. we really needed those hd-dvd guys to compete.
