I check Amazon pretty regularly and a couple of those I've never seen south of $23-24. Mostly Fox titles.

I may have exaggerated a bit, but a lot of them were cheaper right before this sale. I had my eye on 3:10 to Yuma, Before The Devil Knows Your Dead, and Dawn Of the Dead. 3:10 to Yuma went up 9 dollars, Before The Devil Knows Your Dead went up 6 dollars, and Dawn Of The Dead went up a dollar. So I guess I should have stated the ones I had my eye on, along with a few others, went up in price quite a bit.

Oh, you are totally right about some of them. I got 3:10 to Yuma from Amazon about 3 weeks ago for $15 as part of a 2 for $30 deal. Even most of the ones I'm looking at got a raise of like $2-3 but it still ends up cheaper per movie than even DDD was with their 20%. At least, on the 3 I mentioned.

Yeah talk about cheap tactics...

I was going to say that some of the $21 titles aren't bad but then looked over it again and asked myself if I would really pay $14 each for any of those and honestly I wouldn't.

Movies that have been out for a long time and just plain really old movies? No thanks, I'll buy used new Blu-ray's for $15ish or wait for good deals like the Cloverfield, I Am Legend, Pan's and Blade Runner one a few weeks ago. On top of that some of those movies have been on hi-def cable for months now. Paying almost $15 for them would be dumb.
