Do you get a pop-up on Amazon or something if it becomes available through the wait list?

Not that I'm expecting that to happen or anything, just curious.
Yeah, a notification pops up on the right side when it's available to you. It will only pop up though when you look away from your screen and decide to take a quick bathroom break. That's what always happens to me...

Lol. Ok thanks for the info.

Guess I'll go to the bathroom *cough cough*

I'm ecstatic. Here in Puerto Rico Black Friday isn't as good as in the US and we don't have some stores like Target. By ordering online with student Prime I avoided lines, paying for shipping and the 7% tax.

As soon as the countdown ended, I saw the little bar start to fill up and display "10% claimed". That's when I clicked "Add to cart". I feel so lucky! Now I wonder where I should get some games for the console... I'd like A Link Between Worlds, Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 7, Luigi's Mansion, M&L: Dream Team, Paper Mario, Pokemon Y and Kid Icarus.

What's the best way to go about getting most of those for cheap? I don't mind if they're used...

I wanted another after getting a 3DS XL for the kids.  They are fun.  I was not thinking that I'd enjoy it considering that I'm mostly a PC/Console gamer.

For those of you who missed out on 3DS XL, the easy way to get this is to buy $75 worth of stuff at Target on Friday.  Then you will get a 20% coupon that you can use later on a full price 3DS.

$200 - 20% = $160

If you have a red card it will be

$200 - 25% = $150

You do have to spend $75 at target to get this deal but it isn't that hard to spend $75 at target.  Every time I go in there just to pick up some socks or whatever I end up dropping $100+

Basically to have a shot at anything you want, you have to just start clicking add to the cart button before the price even shows. Then, if your lucky, you have 15 min to decide. I think that's why everthing sells out so fast. Add to cart then think about it.

Now crossing my fingers for $15 Dragons Dogma tomorrow.

CaseX: Hah! for real. I'm surprised that it actually popped up considering how fast it sold out. But yeah they only give you 3 minutes, I believe it was, to claim the deal, then you have 15 after that.

How long till they are fully claimed. I am on the waitlist but I really dont want to sit in front of th computer for hours waiting for a popup that  may or may not come

Does that include purchase of gift cards? Is this listed in the Target BF Ad?

So let me get this straight. If I ad it to my cart ahead of time, when the lightning deal comes up it will automatically change price and then I can make the checkout at the reduced deal price?

That game is a lot of fun. You're in for a treat. The pawn system is really interesting.

Maybe all of them who click ADD bought it.
claimed is different than bought. Claimed means there are still ones out there sititng in peoples carts and have not been paid for. At least i think thats what it means. cause for the Red/Black one it says the waitlist is full. I am on the Black/black waitlist. But i am guessing not all have been paid for

haha I got a message that it was my turn on the waiting list and added it to my cart and completely forgot that I had $56 in credit stocked up from Bing rewards. I couldn't pass up an XL for a hundred bucks. B/B here.

3ds is still 100% claimed. I am suprised its taking this long for all of them to be purchaced
The Red/Black is gone gone. But there is still a small chance at a Black/Black. I'll bite if I get one. If I hadn't just gotten a TASCAM DR-100mkII I would have gotten one of those too. Awesome price for one of the best digital recorders.

Refreshed at 12:10 and didn't even get on the wait list. Lighting Deals are a joke, the only way I ever get anything from Amazon on BF is when they price match competitor.

even tho everyone is going to advise me not to buy it...what happened to resident evil operation racoon city?? i thought it was supposed to be a lighting deal at 12:10 pm PT? now i dont see it on the list haha...anyone have any ideas?..did they change the titles for lighting deals today..

Yeah, it never showed up in the lightning deals when they added today's stuff.

Youre in the same boat I am, I know I shouldnt buy it bt I would because RE. It looks like it got cancelled though

I thought people said the 20% didn't work on consoles. Be better to use that coupon on a PS4 or something
The coupon explicitly says it does not work on ps4 or xb1. I don't think it mentions the 3ds anywhere.

I got in on the Amazon deal for $150, but my backup plan was always the Target coupon.

amazon will add/remove deals. we won't know till that day. maybe they'll add it back tomorrow or at a later date or maybe they'll make it be a non-lightning deal. who knows :S

i forgot about the 3DS deal. but looks like it sold out ridiculously quick. now i'm worried about tomorrow when some of the games i really want will appear. haha doesn't help that my laptop is down right now so i'm stuck using my pos pc comp. :"D this will be fun

So is it safe to leave these forums for at least the next couple hours without the fear of missing something awesome?  Or will deep feelings of regret set in when I return only to find out they had BF4/Last of Us for $10 and I missed it?

This place always starts to feel like a prison during this time of year.  Can't leave.  And in many ways, through fear and uncertainty, I'm afraid to leave for even a few minutes.  I guess I've become institutionalized.

they wont be that cheap so you are fine

I missed out on the Black/Black XL despite clicking on the "Add to Cart" ASAP--I was #300 or so on the waitlist, then after 10-15 minutes, I wasn't on it anymore and I hadn't seen any popups in that time (I had full control of my bodily functions the entire time ;)).

I figured I'd try Amazon CS livechat while the Lightning Deal price was still active--the rep asked me to place a regular order and let her know so she could manually adjust the price! :hot:

So it looks like my brother is upgrading from a standard 3DS this Christmas! :bouncy: :D/
