Tomb Raider hands down, followed by Metro. The story, graphics and game play has Tomb Raider heads and above the rest, they really fixed the franchise imo.
fuck!!!!

I'm going to end up spending more than I thought...and I still haven't bought Last of Us and BF4 yet.

Thanks for the advice man! :)

I decided to just buy it now. $15 vs $5 isn't that big a difference. But then again they might just have tons of them, and not that many people who still have the promo.
I'm still going back and forth. I might just buy it now and waste the $10. I've been really sick today and yesterday with the flu or something and God knows if I'll even be awake during the lightning deal.

NOW, I am going to bed. Got Metro last light and 2 of the camo 360 wireless controllers which are $34.99 from $54.99. Don't know how good the transforming dpad is, but I guess my son will find out come Christmas.

So if I'm reading this right it sounds like the Dishonored GOTY is like most other GOTYs with DLC on disc. Should be able to install it, trade it back in for $16 to Amazon and buy the $7 vanilla from BBY.
I am interested in the words that are coming out of your mouth, but I'm confused about it. So I can just install all the DLC on my PS3 using the GOTY edition, sell it back, then play the DLC using the vanilla version I already have?

I think it depends on how many of those $20 promos are out there floating around.

They will probably match if it doesn't mean most of them will actually sell for $5.

Some of the other deals are being matched like Forza 4 for $15, and twisted metal and sly cooper PS3 for $10.

I picked up kh dream drop, batman arkham origins, ps all stars. I was going to get metro but I know I'll never play it

Anyone think that Yamaha receiver (Yamaha RX-V673 7.2-Channel Network AV Receiver) is a good buy at $300? It is the overall "Deal of the day". I've been living without surround sound for too long - need to set that #@^%%^ up. Well, I have a cheap-o "Xbox" one I picked up from somewhere (Costco I think - found out about it on CAG of course) years back for $100. It works with optical input but not HDMI of course. That is set up in the room my son plays 360/X1 but the rest of us barely use. Downstairs I have my old surround sound setup from the 1990's but we never use that either.

Yamaha is a highly underrated brand. I think they're up there with Onkyo and Harman Kardon as far as quality is concerned.

I'm sure it is good enough considering what I'm used to. (I'll also have to buy some new speakers most likely).

But I'm just trying to get a handle on the value. Of course Amazon says it is marked down from $650 to $300 but we all know that is BS. I don't know what they were selling it for a few hours ago.

On eBay the prices start at $375 shipped, with most over $400. So $300 from Amazon is an OK deal, though not as stellar as they make it out to be. That would blow through the last of my Amazon credit and make me hesitant to buy anything else the rest of the year though (including BF).

Or you could just buy it used from Gamestop and install it and then return it. That's waht I'm going to do since I have the vanilla one already.

I think you'll be pretty pleased with the sound quality. I was a pretty loyal Yamaha follower for a while before I simplified to 2.1 and started building my own equipment.

Will Amazon PM Microsoft's deals? I really want MGR for $10 and I also really want to spend nothing out of pocket this year.

I was able to get at Amazon's Customer Service Representative to price match the Best Buy price so I managed to get it for $29.99 via changing the price in my order.

So if you want it via Amazon you have a good chance to get the price difference if you talk to a CSR.

Also I got Forza 4, it looks decent.

Thanks. How should I do it right now? Chat or call?

I'm thinking of trying to hold out for beyond to hit 25 but does anyone know if the 20 promo credit would work then, and if the 35 dollar price is good after the lightning deal? Thanks if anyone can help!

We don't so it's really do you secure it now for $15 or roll the dice that you even manage to click it fast enough .
