I really want a Vita just to play Persona 4 Golden because I feel like if I play the one on PS2 I am not getting the full experience. I am trying to do this ahead of Persona 5 and the flurry of Atlus games next year.

However I just feel the Vita Bundle for Amazon isn't that great and doesnt have the games I want.

Who would have thought I'd have a more pleasant experience at Best Buy's Black Friday opening then I would waiting for Amazon's Black Friday deals.

while the price is not showing up correctly yet --- does it also ask you guys for credit card information if you click on buy code?

Is this because of digital thing? It never asks me to put credit card information if i purchase anything else because its already added in payment option...

lol the rep i talked to told me to check back in a couple a weeks to see if it goes on sale.
ROFL The rep I talked to said it was an issue only a GSD team could helped me with and connected me to them. However all it did when I answered was play god awful hold music. So I'm leaving the chat open for the rep. They are timed on this stuff so if they are not solving my problem they aren't going to move on to the next =P

I really hope waiting for Amazon and that stupid $5 download credit that I'll probably never even use hasn't screwed me since I passed up all the other PS+ deals tonight.

It's because it's digital.

Yes, it's a digital code so that if someone were to hack their account they could charge up a ton of codes and there would be no way to track them since there is no shipping address.

It's supposed to be available in the SEN store too off the playstation network, they are going to be having a variety of flash deals later today.

Got 'Tales of Xillia' ... time to go to bed. Hopefully the PlayStation Plus thing is sorted out by the time I get up.

How come you guys aren't just buying 2x PS+ on the PS Store on Friday to get $10 PSN credit back for the spend $60 get $10 promo?

I only want 1 and I'm also not sure if I buy from the store if I would get a code to use later or if it would just start my year automatically right away. I'm not planning on using my code until I get a PS4 and need + to play online. The games and other stuff that come with it are of very little interest to me.

Is it a sure thing it'll be on the PS store? I just checked the blog, and it only talks about retailers...

Amazon customer support late night is just fuck ing worthless.
Preach. I talked to two Indian reps who couldn't have been any more oblivious to what I was saying. This one lady wasn't even saying actual sentences and kept asking me if I needed anything else at this time. I hung up and got an American rep and your girl seemed like she was half in the bag. She kept laughing about how she couldn't get the page to open and told me to have a Happy Hannukah.

It was up for like two seconds, and back up to 50 by the time I got to check out?

Got it.

After being on hold for awhile someone finally picked up and was able to help me. I had to pay the full $50 but they said I would get an email  letting me know I was eligible for the promo and would get the $20 back. I also had the rep put a note in my account and then send me an email stating that I would get the $20 back just in case =)

I'm fine with paying up front for it as I just want to go to bed and wouldn't want to wake up and find out it finally went live and then sold out.

Still much better than driving to game stop =D

Weird thing is I was charged tax for it? Ive never been charged tax for game cards etc before. So I'll end up getting like 22 back since my total was 54

Amazon is fully aware that this promo isn't working yet. The rep I talked to had already handle 7 other orders before mine.

So yeah, to those confused about being able to use gift card credit on these at Amazon, it says this when you check out:

We want to make sure this is an authorized use of your account. This is for verification purposes only. Any gift card or promotional balances will be automatically applied to your order before attempting to charge your card.
Pretty clear I think that you can.

(And by the way the deal is live now - 1:06AM Pacific)

So PS+ is working and I grabbed it but the Rayman price is still $25.

Is that for real? So they advertised a 3 AM EST sale price for a game, while the game was already $25, and they're considering that the sale price?

Seriously?
