if I buy L4D2 right now at $39.99 and it goes down in price as a lightning deal can I get a price adjustment? Im guessing not since its a limited deal but has anyone tried this before?

still debating....l4d2 or dragon age....not much of a role playing gamer though. Mainly play cod. Although a change of game wouldnt be bad
 
You know, in some sick and twisted way I really enjoy these days before and after Thanksgiving waiting up all night for deals for my whole family and I. My wife stayed up last night for awhile and got up around 3 this morning. It's not something I do every weekend, but its definitely a tradition for the last few years!

Grabbed a Tales of Vespiria for 14.98 and Magna Carta 2 for 32.98. Used my wife's account to get a free Prime trial so pretty cheap. I need some old fashioned RPGs right now.

I'm definitely hoping to snag a L4D2 as long as it's 35.00ish. Otherwise I'll just be trying my luck at Walmart (price match) or Best Buy.
 
L4D2 has to be 30. I can't see Amazon doing a 5 buck cut at such a weird time of the day. This and Halo 3: ODST tmrw are awesome.

unless they mange to price match Best Buy 35 dollar before the lightning deal starts...
i really don't think l4d2 will be going for 30 dollars.
35 being the highest it would go for
oh yeah and odst for 35 doesnt sound bad. considering it has all the multiplayer maps for halo3...a damn steal

I'm tempted to get Magna Carta 2 due to the deal, but I felt the demo was awful (from Japan) and hated the first one (although I understand they are a bit different) badly. I want NBA Live 10, but it will be cheaper at Best Buy tomorrow. NCAA Basketball 10 at $47.99 is tempting though.
 
NCAA Basketball 10 will only go down as season goes on. I wait on the college games every year, and they're usually half priced by the end of their respective seasons.
 
I just bought Dragon Age: Origins. I couldn't resist at $35.00 because something tells me that game won't get a price drop in a long time, but I could be wrong since Mass Effect 2 is around the corner. Also, I got Soul Calibur IV for $9.98. I'm going to be broke if I keep up with this.
 
MagnaCarta 2 is vastly different from the first game. The battle system is miles better and more refined, while keeping things challenging. And this time you can actually tell who's a guy and who's a girl.

I've bought 4 games today (DA:O, GH: Metallica, Pure, and Chrono Trigger). I've spent a total of $86.58, which is a really good deal for those 4 games.

But I am compelled to stay awake and see more. It's beginning to feel like I have a problem. ;)

Picked up Dragon Age and Afro Samurai. Was going to grab Scene It for the wife, but I haven't heard great things about it. The first two games were pretty good, though.

I was also going to grab Magna Carta 2 for that price, but I'm afraid I wouldn't get to it before it drops in price again. I'm very tempted. Last year I got Last Remnant from Amazon for $40 and it dropped to peanuts afterwards...and that wouldn't be so bad but for the fact I barely touched it (and still really haven't).

Yet, it's still really enticing. As are a few other games.
 
I'm sort of expecting Amazon to bring back all/most of the lightning deal pricing early morning Friday. Am I crazy? I have an ECA code in my cart, so I was planning to save it for one big order tomorrow AM.
