The Discover discount seems to be now dead. I just went through a bunch of games I ordered yesterday and the product pages no longer have the Discover discount on them.

Discover is DEAD. I checked non game items it was working on and it is gone now. It did say limited time, so I guess the time is up or they may have pulled it for BF.

I checked a few games and I don't see the discover promotion anymore as well.

Well I'm done shopping too. Forza 3 was the last game. A lot of you cats are saying this year was bad but I have never seen so man NEW games at close to half off. I mean Forza 3, Dragon Age, L4D2? All at prices they shouldn't be until midway next year. This year was awesome!

Nah I have Prime so 2 day shipping is free. I forgot I had 10 dollar credit so I ended up nabbing Forza 3 for 25 bucks even. :)

This was the sole reason I pushed the button on numerous deals today and brought just a bit more happiness to my life. Fare thee well, save $10 with a $50 purchase when using the Discover Card purchase.
 
Ugh...Kingdom Hearts for $26? The local Frys Electronics in my area had it for $20 about a week ago. Amazon is being really stingy on some of the deals this year.
 
I didn't use the $10 promotion for ODST when I checked out thinking it'd apply to the next order that I make. But it's not there. Do I have to call customer support about this? Will they do anything?

I was baffled on that one too. 50% off, and Halo games don't go down in price that often, not counting Halo Wars.
 
ODST didnt sell out cause a ton of people already own it, honestly i wish Borderlands got a bump down to $34.99 but i guess i have a big enough back log....but next year i`m not buying any games released after september until black friday cause i already bought everything earlier
 
So, on games like Republic Heroes that are deals all day, can we expect to see some small price drops on those. I remember last year, as the weekend came, the prices dropped a few dollars here and there.
 
Very disappointed in the 19" LCD TV they just had in the lightning deals. Based on the description I was expecting a well reviewed TV from a brand like Toshiba, not a TV from Sharp that seems to have no info out there about it.

Hoping for Scribblenauts for under $20, otherwise I think I'm done shopping. Basically all of my shopping was done by late Wednesday night, since then very little of interest.

You can go to 'Your account' and click on 'Manage my Prime Membership'. You can tell them not to auto-renew your membership.

The Prime Membership renews itself when it expires.
You will be charged 90 or 80 dollars for one year membership and amazon will not let you know of this. They would just charge you and expect you to pay it out of your credit card.
And there is nothing you can do about it...no really, seriously, nothing...nothing like going into your account and opt-out from the renew program of Prime.

No you can turn it off
Once you activate it:
Go to "Your Account" then under settings "Manage Prime Membership" and select "Do Not Auto upgrade" and it wont.

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know 50 cent is only $15 on newegg. I figure it's worth picking up at that price. I checked out and put in my CC info and submitted my order, but now it isn't showing up on my newegg.com account dashboard (and I haven't gotten an email from newegg confirming my order). Does anyone know how long it usually takes for a new order to show up?

I was up at 3:00am, EST time... so if you tried to wait it out and didn't get it- that is all on you. I got it with no problems at all.

Yes it is an automatic renewal. You have 30 days of free trial membership, then they charge $80 for the next year.
