In for Tools of Destruction at $28. I'm sure I can find something good to use the $20 code on, maybe WipeoutHD.
Amazon now matched the Best Buy, buy a PS3 game, get a PS network $20 credit promo. Same list of PS3 games as BB.
Dammit. I just bought 3 of those when they were lightning deals on Black Friday. Oh well.
Does anyone think Uncharted 2 will drop below $40 on CyberMonday?

Also,
MUA2 is $37.95.
Don't think it would.

It's already cheap and the game itself is worth more than that price.

anyone else buy vesperia when it was 15 bucks? I did and I got a bunch of french on the back of the cover. Was wondering if that's normal

Yep. I got a copy last year, had French text along with English.

Hey, head's up. Amazon is usually good about "matching" promotions that occur a day or two after you order. You might have to send a few emails, but you'll eventually get a good rep which will do it for you.

I bought UnCharted 1 during the lightning deal, so I'm gonna see if they'll give me the $20 PSN Credit anyways.

Yes that's normal. Same deal with a lot of JRPGs, french translations on the back cover is pretty normal.

oh that's kinda odd haha I don't remember french on the back of my eternal sonata...

Thinking about picking up Tekken 6 for $34.99 (PS3). I missed out when it was $33....but $2 is not a big deal. I wonder if it will go lower for Cyber Monday....but I doubt it.

Anyone here have the game? Worth it?

i am really hoping for some nice games for psp ,like Daxter, to be reduced on price.

i want to gift a psp game to my cousin and the bastards from Amazon have not put any up.

Hey, don't call them Bastards. Amazon has been the best retailer, on or offline for the whole year. They can't offer deals on every single game, it's not financially possible or feasible.

So cut your whiny shit.

i seriously doubt this

FUUUUCK you amazon! I don't want $20 to your shitty PSN store. Give me a friggin PSN card.

Ugh, I got so excited thinking they PM'd the BB sale.

Edit: Well, it looks like they finally added a bunch of non-Sony stuff. I'd still rather have $20 to add to my PSN wallet.

Tekken 6 is bound to tank further. The game simply lacks polish, and innovation. I would call it Tekken 5.5 with an annoying 'Force mode' that brings down the whole package. I sold mine after playing it for about an hour.

Thanks I took it. Got Uncharted and some chopsticks(literally).

emailed amazon regarding the $20 since i bought killzone 2 the other day as a lightening deal..doubt itll happen but worth a try.

on another note amazons psn selection sucks..all i wanted was the killzone map pack and flower..

Wow. In a sea of whiny posts, this one stands out as most retarded! Congrats!

To the people who are trying to get that 20 dollar credit for the PSN:

Offer valid between 2:00 PM November 29, 2009 and 11:59 PM November 30, 2009 Pacific time, when shipped and sold by Amazon.com.

That may be reeeeeaaaaaaly stretching it. you got uncharted for 15 and want a 20 dollar psn card.

Cool, thanks! :booty:

Point is that $20 Amazon PSN credit is not the same as a $20 PSN card.

You sir, are the epitome of a cheap ass. My hat goes off to you if you pull this off. It's refreshing to see your ambition. (Not a flame post either)

Gotta keep it cheap.

Update on the post where I said I emailed them:

I emailed them, citing the promotion and basically saying that I ordered it a few days ago, and I had not even received it (which is true. I'd say the not having received it contributed to my success.)

Their response:

"Your order didn't meet all of the qualifications for receiving this promotional certificate. Specifically, you placed this order on November 26, but this promotion is applicable only if you place the order between 2:00 PM November 29, 2009 and 11:59 PM November 30, 2009 Pacific time, when shipped and sold by Amazon.com.

Because your business is important to us, I've made an exception and issued you a $20.00 promotional certificate, which you can use the next time you order an item shipped and sold by Amazon.com. You'll see your available promotional balance at checkout--this amount will be applied to your next order automatically without entering a claim code. Your promotional balance doesn't appear in Your Account but will always display when you place an order. For more information about using your promotional certificate, including the terms and conditions for using the certificate, visit our Help pages:"

O____O

Thats arguably better than the PSN credit.

I'm fine with the psn credit since i've wanted those two games for a while.

Yeah, a $20 promotional credit towards my next order. (Even if it isn't a video game.)

Funnily, enough... I wanted the PSN credit so I could grab some PSN game codes for whne I eventually get a PS3. (That's why I bought UnCharted originally. To start up my PS3 collection for when I get one. I'm.. building it cheaply.)

Edit: I'm thinking of picking up Tools of Destruction so that I can get an actual Amazon PSN credit..

Thanks guys...I'll take the advice and wait then.

BTW Red, congrats on the $20 credit you got. I too had Amazon refund me $5 to my CC after GH: Metallica dropped in price in 1 day from $30 to $25.

Amazon kicks ass.

And Amazon is not BB. So stop whining about them not giving you exactly what YOU want.

It'll be interesting to see what goes on sale tomorrow for Cyber Monday.

I'm hoping to spend that $20 credit tomorrow. The $20 PSN Credit promotion ends tomorrow night, so.. if Ratchet drops to $15 with a $20 PSN Card? = happy times.
My Tekken fight stick came in and it's acting a little weird. The light on the controller doesn't show anything in the quadrant while it's on, and occasionally after I turn it off all of the lights will still be on and you can't turn the controller on, I have to take the batteries out and then turn it on.

Should I contact amazon? Will they just send me another one or will they need me to return this one?
I just got my fightstick as well. I don't seem to have the same problems as you but I have noticed that sometimes when I am playing none of the lights are on and sometimes they are on. I didn't think much of it at first. I haven't had the problem of turning it off and all the lights still being on. I was wondering if i should be concerned that while i'm playing sometimes the lights arn't on.

I've heard the Tekken 6 Wireless Fight Sticks are not that good. (I'm not a fighting game person, so this is just hearsay from other CAGers.)

I've also heard the the best retail sticks are the Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition sticks.

FYI, Dead Space Extraction is back in stock.

I emailed them, and they added it to an open ECA order (20%), so I got it for 20 or so with Prime. Wish I'd thought to do this with the other sale items I ordered this weekend - oh well.

I'm all set for games now for probably another year, lol.

Or, imo, the standard edition fully modded with sanwa jlf and buttons ( i prefer the smaller form factor even if i spent the same).

And, dang Amazon really impresses with their accommodations and fixes.

Not only that (which by itself would be grounds to deny you), but you bought it for $14.98 (not the $26.99 you have to pay now to get this promo), so with the credit it's sort of like they're paying you $5 to take the game off their hands.

You, sir, are an inspiration.
Think we'll see Fallout GOTY go below $49.99 from amazon?
GOTY has hit $39.99 on at least a couple of occasions in the last month - both through amazon itself and through Target on amazon. Give it time and I'm sure it'll get down there again.

I have a question: Assuming I had an open ECA (of the 10% off) code order..

Let's say an item in the order ships, but I still have a pre-order that isn't out for months.

Can I still get customer service to add more items to this order?

Edit: On another note, on the subject of Amazon Customer service:

They -rock-. Seriously, even if your in the wrong, they'll still -usually- accommodate you if your claim isn't too outlandish.

I still can't believe they gave you 5 bucks to buy uncharted from them. I sir, am envious. Good going though, but I hope everyone who bought it during that deal don't try it now.

Okay, I also bought UC1 during the BF sale. Who do I email?
Yeah, a $20 promotional credit towards my next order. (Even if it isn't a video game.)

Funnily, enough... I wanted the PSN credit so I could grab some PSN game codes for whne I eventually get a PS3. (That's why I bought UnCharted originally. To start up my PS3 collection for when I get one. I'm.. building it cheaply.)

Edit: I'm thinking of picking up Tools of Destruction so that I can get an actual Amazon PSN credit..
Thats why it never hurts to ask. I dunno why people are so afraid to get shot down occasionally it works out for you. Not like they are going to ban you from their site if you give them too many problems

You most definitely can have an item added to an open order with a pre-order item in it. If not everything has shipped yet you can call or email them to add an item.
