^^^ Yeah, I redid my post anyway. No point in bringing that up in THIS thread I guess.
Lol, I honestly don't care, I'm neutral since my bro got a PS3. I'd like to see them both stick around forever, because this competition between them is making for great deals for us.

Oh and that's a killer deal you got there with the GC :D

Did the Best Buy B2G1F deal yesterday (yes, I know overpriced but I still saved around $10) and just did this deal today for Knocked Up and The Big Lebowski.

Used the amazon card code, picked up the three Harry Potters and Casino for under $35.00...hurray for me...also got the HD of Planet Earth for Xmas so I'm all good.

Planet Earth is a must own HD DVD. Wish it is part of this BOGO deal.
Same goes for Blade Runner.

Thanks OP!!!!! I didn't get the Potter boxset like I wanted for Xmas, so I ordered each one seperate yesterday. Thank God I was able to cancel those and replace my order on 1-4 with BOGO. Saved 40 bucks in the process

Stupid Amazon :)

In for all 4 potter's, serenity, and fear & loathing

dvdsave5 worked fine for me BTW

Awesome deal, thank you so much OP!!! Picked up all 4 Harry Potter movies and the two Mummy movies. $60 for 6 HD DVD's, can't beat that with a stick.

In for Children of Men and Serenity, man my HD DVD collection is growing pretty quick thanks to Amazon.

Anybody seen Breach? Considering getting that with Big Lebowski next.

You say 'yet another' like it's a bad thing. I think you are thinking of Blu-ray and their desperate attempts to get a user base by offering weekly BOGO crap offers.

I have.

It good but it's a fairly slow, dialog driven movie.

Wow, why do Knocked Up and Evan Almighty raise in price, they did the same thing at the BB deal last week

Went from 19.99 to 27.95 (way overpriced for both IMO, and I own them)

First 4 HP movies for $34.90 with free 2 day shipping? Too much for me to resist. Thanks for posting this great deal.

Heh, now I have the first 4 movies on HD and the 5th on BR.

Argh, why does Children of men have to be one of those damned combo disks? God, I don't want to remember the days of early 2-sided DVD's.

Spots #1-4 belong to Harry Potter on HD DVD.

The BDA must be shitting bricks right now. Delicious.
ROFL...when HD does a BOGO its ok but when Blu-ray does it becomes desperation..

i brought a bunch from this sale too...its too hard to resist...and i am about to list my blu-ray HP collector set on ebay now since the price difference is just too great to justify keeping it when i can get 4 out of the five movies for $35.00 shipped...

If one of your movies is in your daily picks, you still receive the discount during checkout. It's probably only gonna be like a $1 buck it's still a buck.

Too bad their is only one good movie out of Harry Potter 1-4. I was thinking about picking up the 4th one but I already have Children of Men and Hot Fuzz on HD and some of my lesser wants on the HD-DVD list on SD.

Take a look at the Top 100...Several HD DVD movies that are not BOGO have suddenly jumped in the sales rank. T3 is pretty damn funny, I imagine pissed off Blu-ray owners.

Blu-ray does it every week. That is my point. HD DVD does it a couple times around Christmas and Cheapy says yet again like it's a weekly thing... when in fact Blu-ray pretty much does that. Just a little irony.

In for the 4 Harry Potter movies. Thanks.

And I had to add in Blade Runner HD DVD, since I haven't gotten it yet.

Not bad. My total for all five movies:
$67.85

excatly what I picked up. I ended up returning the HP HD DVD Box Set just a hour ago to Best buy and got $118 back (after taxes from $109.99), and thanks to Amazon I got Harry Potter 1-4 for only $39.95 . I also returned my Oceans 13 I got free for buying Bourne ultimatium last week during Bestbuys Buy 1 Get 1 Free to get Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix (5th movie) so I got 1-5 for $39.95 instead of $118. I am glad it worked out this way since I kind of wanted the dvds in their own cases instead of the big box set case plus I don't think I really need all that extra stuff like hte interactive game etc.

It certainly has nothing to do with a BOGO sale! Certainly! I'm sure HDDVD just is that much popular!

You format fanboys are ridiculous.

Actually, when this sale first got started yesterday, these titles were both 19.99 each. I have noticed with the Amazon BOGO sales that they will increase the cost of some titles after a few hours or so.
Oh well. BOGO is still cool anyway. Especially with only a few days left to take advantage of the extra 10% off (for those of us who got in on that deal back in 2006).
I hated Hott Fuzz. It was bad, didnt care for Shaun of the Dead much either (I dont think thats on this list for sale, just saying). They remind me of the old Airplane, or Hot Shots movies.
Yikes... I'd have to strongly disagree on that comment.

Luckily I don't need knocked up; I got it for Christmas. My parents had to pay the outrageous price of $30 at BB, but at least I let them in on the BOGO that was happening so I got pairs of movies for the same money. Good titles that I couldn't have brought myself to drop the money on.

These Amazon sales have me programmed to automatically equate that all HD/BD must be

I thought Shaun of the Dead was slow paced and witty. Airplane, Hotshots etc are more like rapid fire jokes. I really like them but the styles, to me, seem completely different, if not for the pacing then for the low-browness of the humor (I don't remember Airplane being particularly clever, just quick, which was clever all it's own).

HOLY AWSOMENESS! ;)
I just got 4 Harry Potters, Dune, Serenity, Both Mummy movies for $79.80! ;) Happy Birthday to me! Thanks for the heads up!
What am I missing here?
If you bought 2 BD/HD movies last year, Amazon gave you 10% off all BD/HD movies throughout 2007. Better yet, it applies the coupon prior to any BOGO discounts; so, $79.80 - $7.98 = 71.82 - 39.90 = 31.92. Quite a damn deal, and best of all, even without Harry Potter #5, you get them all in the nice plastic cases (the box set, while cute, has all 5 films in cardboard cases of varying sizes).
And here I thought that I was finished buying HD-DVDs for the season. . . bought the Harry Potters, Serenity and Traffic. Less than 60 bucks. Woohoo!

Now I got my damn PS3, I need some of those blu-ray deals to come back. Anyone know a good deal on the spider-man trilogy? Or just spider-man 3 will suffice . . .
CML for a sealed Spiderman 3.

And Myke,

Thanks for that info, That was an amazing offer right there a shame I missed it.

if only i had known i would of bought so much hd media from amazon.. i wish i had bought those 3 movies last year from that promotion :(

All four Harry Potters for $26.92, Children of Men and Fearless for $17.36. Can't stop buying HDM at these prices.

As mykevermin said, this 10% will be sorely missed next year.

Picked up Children of Men and Hot Fuzz.

I think I'm waiting out the HP movies until we can get them in one huge package. Hello 2011? :D
