Amazon bonus credit question

I purchased some text books for school and received an email telling me I got some mp3 credit. I deleted the email on accident would the credit be posted in my account somewhere?

I questioned them awhile back about finding the balance remaining, here is their response:



You can also view your promotional certificate balance by following these steps :

1. click the "Your Account" link at the top of our website.
2. Log into your Amazon.com account when prompted.
3. Go to any MP3 album/song page. Look for the tab "Buy MP3 song/album with 1-click".
4. Click the link "Redeem a gift card or promotion code & view balance". Here you can view your promotional and gift certificate balance.
