Amazon.ca just sent me an e-mail saying The Ultimate Matrix Collection on Blu-Ray will be 64% off this Friday. 36% of $139.99 (list price) is $50.40 + tax. That's before the $10 coupon (MAPNEWNCSAVE) for new accounts so $40.40.

Amazon Canada ships worldwide for movies afaik but you'll have to pay shipping. Guessing no tax for Americans so it kinda evens out. 'specially with the exchange rate at what it is.

Nice deal! I've been looking to get this set for a while, but does anyone know if there are any differences between the US release and the Canadian one?

No. Warner makes one printing for the entire world. This is the same as the UK,US, and Japanese versions.

Looks like this will be less than $50(US) shipped. Good price, too bad about the error on revolutions though. Animatrix looks and sounds amazing.

Good deal although I'd still prefer the UK box set. Same price, $42 shipped, and it has nicer cases/box, although no Animatrix (i don't care about that).

Also notice the "Usually ships within 6 to 12 days" on this deal. US buyers, you won't see this until the end of March :\

Mine already shipped so I am expected to receive it next week. :)
 
I too got in on this yesterday.

Not that I am worried, but the page we all bought from said "The Matrix Ultimate Collection" not "The Ultimate Matrix Collection" and the ASIN does not match. Weird. Maybe it is just a french thing though.
 
The Sin City on their site has no extra features if you wanted to add that.

About shipping: I ordered a couple of times here and I usually get the packages in 2 days after its shipped to NJ or Nevada. The annoying thing is you have to sign for the package otherwise they keep it at the post office which is closed when I get home.
 
Just curious, but does your tracking say Mississauga or does it come from the US distribution centre? I know that when people in Canada order movies from Amazon.com it seems to ship from the Canadian centre in Mississauga... At least that's how it worked last year.

Mine shipped from Mississauga on 2/20. It already shows it's reached the destination country (US) on 2/21. Amazon.ca still lists it for a March 5th delivery with the Canada Post site giving no expected date.
 
I just got my order from Amazon.ca with The Ultimate Matrix Collection Blu-ray! Upon checking the back, the different Canadian UPC code is actually a sticker that's over the original US UPC code. I looked them up on google and confirmed that this is the US release with a sticker over the UPC and a Canadian Home Video Rating sticker at the bottom.
