Amazon.com Dead Space 2 Collector's Ed. PC version $69.82 (reg. $79.99)
I was under the impression that only the PS3 Collector's edition would have Extraction included. Maybe that is where some of the confusion is coming from. (since technically the thread is about the PC version)
Ah this could be the case, but I figured it was a well known fact that the Extraction bonus was only for PS3 in general.

Yeah this is all amazon has to say about the PC collector's edition:

"Product Description
The Dead Space 2 Collector's Edition celebrates the release of the new game by offering fans a highly prized bundle of limited edition items."

Yeah I kept hoping EA would announce it for 360 as well. But no. And if the 360 isn't getting it, then it would be a cold day in hell before the PC got it.
Taken from Amazon:
 • Dead Space 2 game for PlayStation 3 (PlayStation Move compatible).
 • Isaac Clark's collectible replica Plasma Cutter. Plasma Cutter is modeled from the new design in Dead Space 2 and features trigger activated LED lights.
 • The Dead Space 2 Original Soundtrack. Soundtrack features an hour of music compiled from the score of Dead Space 2 and a scoring of the Dead Space 2 featurette.
 • Rare lithograph depicting Necromorph transformation concept art by Visceral Games artist Brett Marting.
 • Isaac Unitology Suit and accompanying Force Gun in-game items. Each offer unique advantages to the player when used in Dead Space 2.

Since we KNOW Dead Space 2 is not going to use the Move and the only part of Dead Space 2 that will ever use the Move is Extraction I think amazon answers the question about if the CE comes with it or not.
So being inquisitive I did a search and pulled up this.. it's dated back in June but if it's accurate you and the above speaking of Extraction being included are correct. But this is the first I've heard http://worthplaying.com/article/2010/6/15/news/74960/

Personally I don't give a shit if it comes with it or not haha I know i already pre-ordered my collector's edition and that's all I need to know. And I got it for the same price as the regular edition so cag i am!
And that states only the limited edition will have Extraction included
You do realize the CE will come with the LE version of the game right? You think they're going to put the standard in there?

Will there even be a regular edition for the PS3? It seems to me that EA has a strategy with the PS3 where only the "Limited/VIP/SuperAwesome" edition is made. Dante's Inferno was only made in a "diviine edition" iirc. And Medal of Honor.

I don't think you will ever be able to find a PS3 Dead Space 2 that doesn't include Extraction.

I think they will eventually since they also plan to sell it on PSN

This might help and goes along with what some others had mentioned to clear it up what comes with what..

"Visceral has clarified at GAF-

At launch, all PS3 copies will include the full version of extraction. All copies will be either Collectors or Limited editions. At some point later, they don't know when, they will introduce a Standard edition which will only have a demo. So, as long as you don't wait too long after launch, if you get DS2 for PS3 you will get Extraction with it.

The confusion was caused by retailers posting info about the standard edition now even though it's not going to be available for some time. "
I guess that should finally clear things up, thanks for posting :)
isnt he the one that caused the confusion in the first place?

I spoke up because everything I had read didn't mention extraction. Others were not sure about which edition ..extraction came with. So I found proof rather than opinion or hearsay. So now we all know. Do you have anything worth your while to add to the thread that's about the subject? "Confucius"
i know a few posts were deleted which is why there was more confusion. But you know what you did.
again you bring nothing to the subject at hand, troll

Just in case anyone else needed another reason reason to buy this, OXM just released their review and gave it an excellent 9.5. BUY THIS GAME!!!!

Oh, and I think this has gone back up to $80 on all platforms, but it is definitely worth it! This is a deal, just not a "deal".
