Death Note: Box Set, Vol. 2 is $1 cheaper at Wal-Mart ($27.96) but shipping is one dollar it seems, so Amazon probably matched it all together.

^^I know because I ordered set 2 off Walmart and used ship to store, but CA sales tax is so high it costs $30.69 for me.
