It looks like these are all from Amazon proper so they are eligible for free shipping if you spend over $25

Shining Tears - $25
Suikoden 4 - $20
Wild Arms 4 - $20 (Oddly they show the shadow hearts covenant picture.
PoP xbox - $15
Shinign force neo - $25
Devil Kings - $20

Unfortunately since the Amazon.com website sucks, I have a hard time finding stuff. Like, some is from amazon, and some isn't. Some is from their third and second party stores. And when I try to search Amazon.com proper, the games don't show up.

Time Crisis 3 with dual guncons - $24 (From Gamestop)

They say they have Growlanser Generations deluxe in stock for $90 but It looks like a mistake.

If you see other good stuff, list it.

Is "Devil Kings" worth it? What's it like? Same question for "Shining Force Neo" and "Shining Tears". Ummm Akbar? What's with the sig?

I've got two friends who have SF Neo and swear it's good, and I've heard mostly good things about it. I have Shining Tears, it's crap. Devil Kings is kinda like DW, but not as good IMO. Flashier, but it's just really not as good. I miiiight be worth it at 20 though.

Devil Kings is like DW. Only bad part about devil kings is that it's only one player. Takes out a lot of fun if you want to play with friends. Shining Tears is crap game. I love shining soul but shining tears was just crap. Lost interest in the game really quick and I just sold it.

I consider SF Neo to be like a Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance type game just not as good. It's an Action RPG, not a turn based RPG like the other Shining Force games.

I thought Amazon.com doesn't sell video games directly--most come from TRU, and the rest are other third parties (GS, JR, Office Depot, etc)?

they used to, and then TRU took over the video game section, but since TRU is leaving Amazon.com, i guess amazon.com's own video game section is slowly coming back =D

FYI, their free shipping saver sucks ass. I made an order with them on May 30th with the free shipping saver option. My order consisted of 2 DVDs that were, "in-stock". Well needless to say, a week and a half had gone by so I checked my order status, it was marked as still waiting to be shipped and was expected to be delievered a week later. So, I decided that I would continue to wait. A week passes, I check up on my package... still waiting to be shipped... so at that point I thought wtf. I decided to change my form of shipping from the free shipping saver to the cheapest option and low and behold I finally recieved the package earlier today! 2 fucking months later, thanks Amazon!

Maybe others have had luck with the free shipping option, but thats my personal experience.

huh, i haven't had a problem yet w/Amazon's super saver shipping option. In fact, they tend to send my stuff out via Priority or First Class, which are fairly quick. Occasionally, they will send out more expensive or bulky items via Air shipping, even under the terms of the free super saver promo.

Well, it seems like the TRU split is underway--I pre-ordered a copy of FFXII from Amazon.com w/free super saver and no tax. Yay!

Well, if you called them, they will surely ship it express 1-day delivery for no extra charge.

Hey, do Guncons work with projection TVs? I'm in the mood for a light gun game but I have no tube TVs in house.

A couple rare DS games in stock with free shipping now:
Phoenix Wright is 29.99
Trauma Center is 29.99
Castlevania DoS is 34.99
I always get my stuff in 2-3 days flat with the Free shipping, as does my old roomate. No problems at all.
Same here

Personally, I thought SF:N was better than the BG: DA or CoN games. It has the same type of combat, but a much better story and excellent graphics. It's also a REALLY long game (I haven't finished it yet, but some people have reported it taking upwards of 70 hours to finish).

ST isn't that great, but I'm thinking of grabbing it for that price just because I've been looking for it to finish up my collection. What's the cheapest thing I can buy to put me over the $25 mark? I'm sure it wasn't by accident that they priced it $24.99....

Good eye! I jumped on Phoenix Wright. I have been waiting forever to get this game. Plus you can't beat the free shipping.

Jumped on Phoenix Wright as well. That price is tough to beat, going for $40+ on eBay. Thanks for the heads up.

I, too, jumped on this and picked up Trauma Center and Phoenix Wright. I had a $30 gift certificate for starting an Amazon credit card, but it couldn't be used on third-party items and I was having a hard time figuring out what to get with it. Thanks a lot, aaandrewww.

I guess it is just preference. I haven't made it through the game yet either but I could not put down either BG:DA games until I completed them.

Anyways doing a quick look for cheap items you could get some AAA batteries for $1.22:

It seems like Amazon doesn't sell anything from their own store anymore...

I picked up ST & SF Neo. The art style of Tears looks awesome and as soon Neo's graphics look pretty great. Besides, you can never have too many action RPGs IMO.

I loved Baldurs Gate Dark Allience Shining tears and SF Neo. But I didn't like Everquest Champions of Norath. Played it for a couple hours then put it down. I recently sold it. I don't recomend that game at all if any of you guys have yet to play it.
shinning tears is coming up at $30 for me.
It is showing $24.99 now, but only 2 left in stock. Hurry if you want it.

amazon shipping is all over the place. Sometimes I get orders in 3 days after buying, other times I've waited 3+ weeks (comic books)

Did you ever bother to contact them, either by phone or email, and tell them about the problem? I am sure if you had done so the problem would have been resolved right away and you wouldn't have had to pay for shipping.

I had the same problem recently (first time in years of ordering) - 2 books and 1 CD were all listed as shipping in 24 hours, but my projected ship date was six weeks after the date I ordered the stuff. When a week and half went by, I contacted them (their web form/customer service stuff absolutely sucks, and they go out of their way to make it difficult for you to actually get in touch with someone), and magically my items all shipped the next day.

For free shipping you can look for the penguin editions of shakespeare plays. They're pretty much all less than $1. One time I had to buy about 7 books for the free shipping, I'm convinced they spent more money sending the enormous box to me than I paid for my whole order.

And hey if you put them in your bookshelf people will think you're smart :)

Shining Tears is like a console version of Shining Soul for the GBA, only with more plot, two player characters on screen at once, more enemies, better attacks, etc. It also has really great artwork and great hand-drawn 2D graphics. It also has co-op play (!), something sorely lacking in RPGs these days. It also has really, really annoying load times.

Shinging Force Neo is the better of the two, IMO. It's a party-based hack and slash with cool weapons and lots of enemies. There is some slowdown when there are lots of characters or effects on screen at once, but other than that it holds up well. Reviews of the game tended to call it pretty hard, but I think thats just because the difficulty ramps up considerably after the first chapter, and that overall, it's a challenging but definitely beatable game. The plot line and voice acting are pretty much 'meh', but I've enjoyed the game enough so far (20+ hrs) to not really care. If anyone has played the Dreamcast game Record of Lodoss War (a stretch, but that game ruled fwiw), SF:Neo was developed by the same people and is very similar in terms of play and skill system. And unlike so many RPGs, it is possible to save at any point in the game outside of a boss fight. Unlike Shining Tears, SF:Neo has very low load times, even with its huge levels.

Now that Amazon finally offers free shipping for video games, CAGs must learn the greatness that is http://www.filleritem.com/

For example, for 79c, you can get an http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006JI6X

Well, I ordered Shining Tears & a dvd using the free shipping - they say Shining Tears shipped today, and it just says "shipping soon" on the dvd - but I'm not panicking yet. ;) Maybe I've just been lucky, but I've never had any trouble in the past with their free shipping.

EDIT: That filler item site will be handy for future reference. I did something that I definitely don't make a habbit out of, but I signed up for their credit card to get the $40 cash back bonus - so I basically got Shining Tears & Friends season 8 for $6. I don't have many CC's anyway, so I don't think it will hurt to sign up for another one (that I never plan on using :p).

yeah that 'estimated ship time' thing is such crap, you buy something and the estimate is often "when hell freezes over we might ship this"
I'm guessing this deal is dead shining force neo is now showing up 29.99
i'm seeing it as 49.99. anyway, to the reference of record of lodoss war... that's the most fun action rpg i've ever played
