Damn that is tempting....if only I could get confirmation that the Falcon chip is being used as opposed to the Zephyr, I'd bite.
 
I'm surprised this bundle hasn't been done before. This is obviously meant to be a direct comparison to the $599 PS3.
 
This was posted earlier, but I guess the mods deleted the posts. There were at least a couple of threads. Saves about $57 and change over buying the items separately.

And it's a damn fine one. I kind of hope it becomes an official MS thing at some point.

I never thought about that. Where does the drive fit into, the side?

Almost makes me want to get a newer prem. model since I'll definitely be using the HD-DVD player for 360.

Yeah the Elite models definitely do not use 65nm Falcon chips yet...I don't care about the 3 year warranty I want it to work forever! :)
 
hmmm, nice... but with the PS3's 60gb is selling at $500, i'll bite this deal if it's $550 or so. The 300 movie doesn't worth $50... thanks for the find though.

well, nothing really work forever, but yes, definitely don't wanna ship it back and forth in the popular coffin...
 
I would jump on this in a heartbeat if it had the 65NM chipset. Damn...I think I may jump on it anyway - no tax, saving $100+, free shipping...
