Amazon Deals: Klonoa $28, Excitebots $37, Wii Sports Resort $47

You assholes need to buy Klonoa and Excitebots.

Excitebots sells only 13000 on week one while GODDAMN KLONOA ONLY SELLS JUST OVER 1000

Do you actually not like it after having played it, or are you just opposed to the game without having tried it? Excitebots is probably the most fun racing game I've played in a long time.
 
28 beans for a retro game is still way too much.

Let me know when it hits 15 blades so i can snap my ps copy in half

I havn't played Bots, I have Truck tho' and aside from online play (which I wouldn't use much at all) it doesn't seem worth the price. When/If I see it at the 15-20 mark I may pick it up. But it didn't change enough from truck to be worth more than that to me.

Definitely surprised by the low 13,000 sales number tho, and definitely wouldn't call it garbage.

Don't call us "assholes"--these fantastic games are on the wrong systems; and, by this point, all CAG's know that these will just eventually get cheaper because of stagnant sales.

Klonoa is tempting at that price, but I already purchased it on PSOne, so it's tough to pay over $20 for it a second time.

Klonoa was released in May, how do you have data for it already

The sales numbers everyone is crying about are only from a few GS stores that sold the game early for a couple of days in April. It's not gonna be a blockbuster, but that 1k is meaningless.

Also, these games are not on the wrong system. Wii game sales just tend not to be frontloaded. Didn't Boom Blox end up with something like 500k to dat? If you're going to suggest that either Excitebots or Klonoa would sell better on the PS3, then lol.

agreed. Its too much for a wii-make. I am hesitant to buy pikmin wii even though I have never played it.
 
Fyi, the onlyne play is pretty much the focus of Excitebots because of how the game is designed - you not only can earn stars via online play, but you earn far more from online play due to the betting. The use of stars to unlock stuff is taken to such an extreme that it's spoof-like, and I don't mean that negatively. It's quite intentional, I think, yet also integral to the game. I mean you even have to purchase the equivalent of achievements! You unlock them via doing particular things, but you can't actually have them until you buy them with stars! It's probably impossible to unlock everything, or even just what you want, without playing online extensively and as a result there is a ton of incentive to do so. And that's good!

Yeah, Excitebots looks like something I might actually like. I mean I can list on one hand the racing games I like, and this actually looks promising.

Klonoa...I don't know. I like it of course, but I already played it a decade ago, and ditto for the sequel. They're definitely good, though far from the best platformers out there. If it were a new one...

I'm glad they only charged $30 for it, and maybe if it were on one of the next gen systems I'd bite for that price, but I can't quite get myself to do it for the Wii. (If I was out of other stuff to play though...)
 
Not a bad price on Klonoa but the others are still too much for me. Let them keep dropping before I waste my money on those.
