If you're in the mood for a fighter, Virtua Fighter 5 for 360 is the perfect game to get. The way online is set up is far from perfect (you get a choice of whether you want to play someone or not for a ranked match?) but the lag (or really lack of it) for the most part is quite good.

I have the 360 version and I think it's good -- not nearly the best game out right now on the system, but it's just really fun for mindlessly blowing things (and people) up. I got it for about $45-$50-ish from a sale and I don't regret my purchase. If you're a big John Woo fan you already know what you're getting into, so it's right up your alley.
