I've heard the game isn't that great, but I'd like to get the Manaphy Egg for my Pearl game(yea, I've already got the TRU one too). Plus the strategy guide is only $8, so why not add it for the free shipping.

I payed about 20 bucks for this to get a Manaphy (I was enjoying pokemon more than any sane person, I regret the purchase on principal). The game was pretty fun and an interesting addition to the pokemon universe. If you find pokemon interesting and this drops 5 bucks more or so, it wouldn't be a bad purchase.

I liked it, personally, but I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it, really. And you seriously do not need a strategy guide for it.

Stuff like that ships eventually, basically. If you don't mind waiting for it (sometimes a long time) go for it. You don't get charged until it actually ships.
