Well the new heatsinks they are putting in them seem to work great. If the system is going to be left in an open area with plelnty of air flow I wouldn't worry about it. If you already have a nice HD its time to start enjoying some HD games & movies

The HDMI models have an additional heatsink, so they're unlikely to Red Ring on you. Of course, in a couple of months the Falcon-chip 360s are coming out and they should be even more reliable. I suggest getting Prey & the HD DVD with a ton of movies now, while the deals are good, if you decide to wait for the Falcon systems.
