Amazon's been pretty consistent with putting arcade sticks as the DotD once or twice a week for awhile now. Oftentimes it's not a special deal at all, with Amazon not touching their normally discounted price on the product and just slapping it into the DotD, to perhaps give less observant people the impression they're getting a better than normal deal.

I don't recall if the one in question was this Hori stick.........but $80 is still kind of pricey for me for an arcade pad, even one as well made as hori. $60 is where it would start drawing my attention.

It was down to $76.xx two weeks ago, but this is the real thing. Some people are paying $50+ for really mediocre stuff (even the Tekken 6 stick is garbage) when compared to this. Save a few extra dollars and buy this instead.

Great price. The arcade stick market has really boom. A year ago these would've gone for $200+ easily to hardcore fighting gamers.

I saw a thread for another fighting stick and I was going to get it but then I saw that this was DotD and its a bomb azz piece of equipment so I'm getting this one instead. This is the best stick I have ever owned. It uses real Seimitsu arcade parts, unlike the cheaper sticks. It's solid, feels great and is built to last. If you are a fighting or shmup enthusiast, and own a 360, you owe it to yourself to buy this...and this is the cheapest I've ever seen it. It's almost 50% off...an instant-buy at this price!

I paid $130 for mine and it was worth every penny. I just ordered another one, despite the fact that I don't really have a lot of extra money to spend right now! It's too good a deal to pass up.

This is the best deal you can get on a stick with real arcade parts in it. I have the SA for PS3 and it is wonderful. This is a great alternative and is comparable to the Madcatz TE if you are trying to save cash.
