amazon holding back on game console matches on BF?

I think last year, they started PMing other stores after their deals went live (on the day of BF). I think their (Amazon's) early deals are just a way of them getting some early sales and betting that most people won't come back later seeking a PM (which they probably won't).
I mean, they dropped a bunch of contract cell phones to a penny so that nobody undersells them so I don't see why they wouldn't compete elsewhere. Then again, they're probably losing a ton of money on those phones so they might not drop prices elsewhere.
