The deal has a little over 15 minutes to go and they got rid of 41% of their alloted amount. Not bad for a deal that isn't really a time limited gold box deal.

It's all in the marketing. "Limited time deal! Buy now!" And that little sale-o-meter adds to the pressure/purchase initiative.
It's not a bad deal, it's just not super - there have been many similar deals recently.
