I saw these at frys too for the same price yesterday.... I'll hold off... maybe the street fighter 4 fad is over? Hopefully some price drops? LOL!

The stick's good and perfect for modding. I was a pad person before I got a stick and now I can't imagine ever going back to a pad.

There is a difference for sure. The pad is nice if you're just playing every so often and want to be competitive online or offline. The stick is for the more serious fighting game player and is very good. Does it enhance the playing experience? Yes. Does it make you a better player? In my opinion, absolutely not. If you're a good player already at the arcade or with sticks in general, then this is the option for you. Either way, the pads and the sticks are night and day over the original controller, that is a fact. The pad is good for casual playing while the stick is for more hardcore action.
