Amazon matching $20 credit on Rage?

I noticed on the main page that Kmart is offering a $20 credit with the purchase of RAGE. Below that it mentioned Amazon is matching or beating deals on RAGE.

Does this count towards the credit received for a game? Amazon is currently offering $10 credit for RAGE... would they upgrade to $20? I was planning on ordering from Amazon today to get the pre-order bonus. I'd really like to figure out if they will match the $20 credit, how I would ask them to match it and if they would match it even after I made the purchase right now only receiving the $10 credit.

IIRC, Amazon rarely, if ever, matches Kmart deals.

Amazon almost always matches Kmart deals, but in this case it looks like Amazon is going with only $10 (the post on the front page is a bit misleading since they did not match exactly the Kmart offer). Could be because pre-orders get a special edition with some free unlocks, or maybe just that the announcement was last minute so the people that already pre-ordered are probably already locked in. I'm sure the pre-orders were already boxed and ready to ship for release date delivery when Kmart announced the deal.

You save about $4 in tax with Amazon too, so it depends if the unlocks are worth it to you.

Are you sure Amazon isn't matching someone else who matched Kmart?
It seems to me that Amazon matches BB and Target mainly, occasionally GS.

Well, I ended up ordering from Amazon earlier today and received the $10 cred and pre-order bonuses. Actually, I just received an email saying they shipped my items (at 9:50 PM, wtf?). So I'm assuming the price and credit of everything became final when they shipped my item, am I correct? Or if they would miraculously decide to do $20 cred, would I be eligible?
