Amazon mess up? Uncharted 2 - $42.20, R&CF:ACIT - $41.32

That's how much I bought Tools of Destruction for, and a few months later, it was Greatest Hits, I'd suggest waiting a bit for those two, obviously going to be 29.99 sooner or later!

i wouldnt say uncharted would go GH (or any random price drop/sale) so soon, since it has multiplayer

Doesn't a game need to be out for around 9 months and sell a certain number of copies to qualify as a Greatest Hits? Sales are no problem for both titles but they are not going to go greatest hits so soon.

Either way $40 is a great price for RnC Crack in Time, I've been looking for a good price on this game. I doubt there will be a price as good anytime soon.

According to wikipedia (which is always correct ;)) the game has to be out for at least 10 months, so August at the earliest. Though in the case of Uncharted 1, I think it took almost 2 years before they put that thing on to GH.

Although I love Wikipedia, the particular sentence stating the criterium of a 'Greatest Hits' title is not sourced at all, so it could be a fabrication or assumption. The user could've been using the old PS2/PSX greatest hits designation and just assumed the PS3 was the same.

I just meant that if some of you are patient enough, these two games aren't going to become rare or anything, and they're obviously going to be part of the GH list at some point, might take 4.5 months like the God of War Collection, or it might take 2 years like it did for Uncharted.

This ain't no Demon's Souls, so unless you need those games NOW, patience! :)

I think the rush to get them now is to avoid the ghastly "Greatest Hits" label plastered across the thing. But I agree, if you're not in any rush, you might as well wait; the price will go down, and if they pull a fastball and put them as GH, you'll have a bit of time to snag them without the GH packaging.

lol... What the hell is with these price fluctuations?

It's like they're basing their pricing on some kind of "market value"...

You would be surprised how often prices on Amazon.ca changes. I keep a bunch of stuff in my cart that I plan on buying (from games to comic tpb/hc) and they go up and down by a few cents to a few dollars at a time.
