Hi CAGs,

I'll be posting deals we're running on Digital Games (PC/Mac, Free to Play, Sony/Microsoft Points/Subs).

I'm also here to answer questions you might have, get you closer to the developers by hosting Q&As, setting up podcasts, live streaming gameplay etc. If I don't respond to a question you have in thread please send me a PM. These ping my email address and make it more likely that I will see your question and respond more quickly.

F.A.Q.S.:

1. Does the game I'm buying from Amazon Activate on Steam/Origin/Uplay? What DRM does the game use?

There are two places to identify DRM on a digital video game detail page:

At the top of the page, below the title:

In the "Product Description" section:

2. Note on Electronic Arts Games - For the most part, EA games sold on Amazon do not activate on Steam. Most activate on Origin.

3. Note on DRM with limited activations:

Our Policy

4. Sometimes I'll do giveaways.

5. I work with developers and publishers to get fun (or at least what I think is fun) content to share with you all. Here are some examples:

a. Check out the Pax Gameplay videos here: Xcom: Enemy Unknown I played Xcom with Jake, the Creative Director for the game, a few months before the game came out Also, on this page, check out the Q&A, also a community driven event.

b. Check out the interview on this page: Borderlands 2 we did this interview at E3 with Randy Pitchford this year.

c. We've partnered with the ++GoodGames Podcast to feature many of the games we carry. They talk to the developers about the game development process, how the games are conceptualized and managed, all kinds of fun stuff. I'm working on putting together full link list and will update when I have it.

What else do we sell?

Xbox Live Points and Subscriptions:

1600 Microsoft Live Points
4000 Microsoft Live Points
12 Month XBOX Live Subscription
3 Month XBOX Live Subscription]
12 Month + 1 XBOX Live Subscription

PSN+ Subscriptions and PSN Points:

$20 PSN Points
$50 PSN Points
12 Month PSN+ Subscription
3 Month PSN+ Subscription

We also have a Free-2-Play store supported by our GameConnect technology. Gameconnect allows you to link your Amazon.com account with free-2-play and MMO accounts so that you can buy things like in game currency, premium game time/subscriptions, in game items, etc. on Amazon.com using your Amazon.com payment options and have this content delivered directly into your game.
$77.95 for me. I dont think its right, I bought a few games this month for the $5 credit(totaling less than that) and I cant use any credit on games atm

I think the F2P promo stuff we've been getting is being calculated there.
This...

I have $25.94 in MP3 credits, $19.94 in video, and $78.91 in games. Where did it all come from? I understand the game credits, but did the games come with video and/or MP3 credits as well?
dont think we will able to see the scribblenauts' flip tonight?
Flip time is usually between 12:00AM and 1:00AM PST...still have time left.

Edit: ...and boom goes the dynamite.

Im so pumped for Scribblenauts and I have no idea why!
Product page shows the discount, but my cart does not.

EDIT: Aaaand, never mind.
still $20 for me
what are you waiting for?
Scribblenauts price to flip. Should have went to bed a long time ago but I'm still not that tired so figured I'd wait for that. Still waiting...:bouncy:

Edit: the eagle has landed

Lol, so many questions! So if the christmas deals are being tested out right now, is there a place where we can see a list of them?

I don't want LEGO Lord of the Rings, but I'm tempted to get it just because it's a great deal. I both love and hate you for that Tony. I may just get it to use as trade fodder in case something comes up in the Steam sale that I want.
Honestly, I could care less about Lego and ScrambledNuts. I waiting to see/hear what this Super-Happy-Mega-Fun-Time promo is.
Same... although if the promo is truly insane then maybe I'll cave on Scribblenauts as a thank you to Tony!

yea! Im staying up for that one :)
Scribblenauts was 7.49 for a brief period, but now it's 20...
why o why

Once I buy it, am I guaranteed a key? Or is it like with Gamersgate where clicking activates something that spits out a key? Because I don't want the keys to run out for LEGO LotR.

Just grabbed both Scribblenauts Unlimited and Lego LotR for $7.49 each. Got the keys right away no problems and they are both downloading in Steam for me right now.

whats this about a promo?

Apologies if this has been answered previously, but has there been any indication as to what price points we can expect for the Christmas day deals? I did not see note in the original post of any of the three (XCOM, Borderlands 2, and Guild Wars 2) which Amazon has listed as being available on the 25th, and was just a bit curious after noticing this box on the deals page. Thanks guys

Relax, you get the keys instantly, just go to your game library.

Second post.

I know that, but it's a button that says View Serial Key. I don't want to click it yet as I'm going to give it away. I was simply asking a question.

LEGO LotR bought, registered on Steam, and downloading. Thanks, Tony!

Also, my Amazon credit balance is... insane. I understand that the software/game balance is probably a mix of $5 credits and F2P game credits, but where did the video and mp3 credits come from? Do the video and mp3 credits go away at some point?

I can wait awhile for Scribblenauts and Lego LOTR. Still, good deal.

He simply answered your question. The button does what it says. Click it to "view your serial key".
Second post.
Thank you for the response, but I did search the first page and was unable to find any of those listed for Christmas among the given prices. I suppose I just can wait to find out
