Pre-Order Borderlands 2 from us for 10% off and help me get a tattoo! Yes it activates on Steam!

I am a huge Borderlands 2 fan and I want this to be our best selling pre-order ever. So I've drawn a line in the sand. If, from now until launch, we take 40,000 more preorders than where we were on 7/2/2012 I will get a Borderlands tattoo on my back.
The first video already gave me much more insight into it than I had after an hour of clicking around, can't wait to finish so I can actually enjoy the game. Thanks.

For the first couple of months it was hard to find this one on sale at all, but $5 is the sale price it's been at least twice now. Well worth it. If you can find four people interested on the Steam trade thread you could do the 4 pack and get it for $3.75.

Thank you for this!

I originally picked up CKII because I heard the Game of Thrones mod was awesome and I definitely want to learn how to play the game itself before I dive into it.

It seems almost every time it's on sale its right around $5. I picked it up for that much when Amazon first had it on sale. It's a fun game, especially if you can get some friends involved.
Thanks for the suggestion. It reminds me a little of L4D so I will try it out!
Really wanted to get KOA for steam but might just bite on origin sale since who knows what's going to happen with steam summer sale. That game may or not be same price on that sale.

Quick question since steam version 38 studios was publisher vs everywhere else EA published, any difference on DRM? Do both origin and steam versions have same drm or did EA pile on more drm?
See here.

38 Studios and BHG Baltimore were NOT an EA owned-studio. They were part of the EA Partners program - so they were able to call their own shots for what DRM the game uses on whatever service, to an extent.
38 Studios published the game onto Steam.
KOA:R - Steam Version uses Steam DRM.
From what I'm reading - like many EA recent games that don't require Origin (i.e. like many EA games before BF3 that did NOT require Origin) - if you like, you may sign into your EA Account in-game. That's optional.
If any KOA:R - Steam Version owners would like to confirm this here, that'd be great. :D

ALL of the KOA:R - Non-Steam Versions require Origin.
I bought KOA:R (long ago on pre-order) + the 2 DLC's (today) from Amazon DVG, so my version is Non Steam; it requires Origin.
I'm pretty sure the answer will be "no," but I am also curious about this. $12.49 is a great price if you don't have all three games, but I already have Sonic Episode One. I'd probably snap up episode 2 if it was on sale and offered separately. Sonic CD is also still at full price, but at only $5.00 it's already a bargain and still gives plenty of bang for the buck IMO.
He said it was going half price on the 6th.
I'm hearing a lot of rumours of people being able to activate the Tomb Raider Underworld keys in Steam. Can anyone please confirm?
I can confirm that it does not activate on Steam.

Lara Croft And The Guardian of Light is the ONLY Tomb Raider game that utilizes Steam currently.

I can get borderlands 1 at 80% off at gamesgetgo, too bad amazon cant match >.< I think it should be $5, it was 7.49 about 7 months ago on steam.

I almost jumped on this deal for Reckoning until the Best Buy coupons for next issue was announced. Shame that the devs won't see any of the Reckoning money from here on out. :[

What coupons?

a couple questions:
-someone on another forum implied that tomb raider underworld in the square-enix pack had a steam key now, is that the case?

-I know that people were having issues registering some of the ea bundle games on origin, has that been cleared up or does one still have to deal with ea support to fix it?

I can confirm that The Saboteur has to be "rekeyed" by EA to be able to add it to Origin. The keys provided by Amazon aren't excepted, and EA actually issues a different key. Took me 39 minutes via chat to reg that game. And then I couldn't run it (will not detect that you have a graphics card and fail to initialize, causing black screen or crash) cause I have integrated ATI graphics. (A8 3870K with 6550HD).

Yet one more reason not to pay retail boys and girls.

I had no problem adding The Saboteur on Origin. Copy and pasted the key and it worked fine.

I did have problems with Bulletstorm and Mercenaries 2 though.
@Gamer magazine. $30 off Reckoning, comes out to $10! :D
If I'm not mistaken the PC version isn't valid for the deal; at least that's what I read in the thread.

Hey Tony,

I'm the third person asking but did you do magic and make Tomb Raider: Underworld in the Square Enix pack a steam key now? I know it didn't used to be steam but reports are starting to appear that it is now a steam key. (For example, see the two recent comments on the top Amazon review for the pack.)

Very happy if so, but only one day left to press that Buy button.

There's at least two people claiming to have redeemed it on the Steam forums, one having a screenshot of it redeeming on Steam. I'm considering getting the pack. I'll report back if I do.

Exactly my experience. Saboteur, no prob. Bulletstorm, Merc 2... Origin says no.

If it was at all consistent, at least that would be something, but this "It works for some, it doesn't for others," is downright stupid. Just seems easy to take a bunch of keys, add it to a database, have it approve, done.

Only a conglomerate like EA or the Soap Man's Company (Activision) could screw something this simple up for well over a year now. This has been the case for Bulletstorm since launch and Origin came out not long after and EA DM was pretty much the same thing (just lacking the social features) and it was in existence before Bullestorm released.

If they can't even guarantee games that release after their program that became Origin launched, then what the hell are they doing?

Sorry for the delay here guys I was still confirming. We tested it on a couple different accounts and it looks like we did get Steam keys in our last batch so anything who buys the bundle from this point on will get a Steam key (it seems like) we're still trying to confirm what happened with Square Enix.

It is only live for another hour though so you might have to wait until we put it on sale again. Not sure when that will be.

Cheers,
Tony
just bought the bundle and yep, TRU is a steam key
i wish supreme commander 2 was something else, then I would get that bundle

I bought the bundle the last time around and it was pretty easy to trade SC2 off. Within a week I think. It's not like it's a terrible game so folks will want it, ya know.

I bought it :D I think most reviewers were sc1 players who didnt like the changes. I added all to steam ;) Ill give it a try

Thanks, Tony. Also confirming for others on the Square Enix bundle. I just activated TR:U on steam!

The reddit Amazon page said that it ran through the 7th and it is still $7.49 past midnight PST so I hope others have another day to pick this up.

Is it at all possible for those of us who purchased this bundle before to get a Tomb Raider Underworld steam key?
Is it at all possible for those of us who purchased this bundle before to get a Tomb Raider Underworld steam key?
I didn't want to say it but, yeah. If not, totally understandable considering it doesn't seem like you guys were aware this new batch was Steam keys.

Throw another one on the fire. I was kinda disappointed that the Tomb Raider game I actually wanted to play wasn't a Steam key.

I'll put it back on the OP, not sure how it fell off.

As for getting Steam keys to everyone who already purchased. I will ask. It is doubtful though as I'm 99.99% sure they didn't mean to give us steam keys in the first place.

Cheers,
Tony

She's not pretty yet but here she is:

www.amazon.com/dp/B008I6NTVK

This will be $14.99 starting tomorrow (Sunday 7/8). Plus, when you purchase it you'll get $5 off any of our 3 THQ pre-orders (Darksiders II, Metro Last Light, or Southpark). This should bring the price of whatever you pre-order down to $39.99.

Cheers,
Tony

Tony, does supreme commander forged alliance require the base supreme commander game? If so it may be good to include it in the pack for those (few) not having it already

It does not.

I got BL goty too, game looks fun and I like the graphics

are there any sort of rewards for buying a lot of stuff from amazon?

I may be crazy but, I seem to remember when people got Forged Alliance and activated it on Steam, the key actually gave them Supreme Commander as well. I can't seem to find proof though.

Someone help me out here? :D

Hey Tony, just wanted to point out that the Rockstar Classics bundle incorrectly lists Vice City as Vice City Stories; which is a different game that was never released on PC IIRC.

Interesting that package #9 has less games than packages #10 & #11 for essentially the same price. Still debating as it's really the Majesty games I want, but Magicka is intriguing too.
