Pre-Order Borderlands 2 from us for 10% off and help me get a tattoo! Yes it activates on Steam!

I am a huge Borderlands 2 fan and I want this to be our best selling pre-order ever. So I've drawn a line in the sand. If, from now until launch, we take 40,000 more preorders than where we were on 7/2/2012 I will get a Borderlands tattoo on my back.
Word, I'll get that cleaned up on the page :).

Cheers,
Tony
No need, I saw the mention of new accounts needed there when I went back to check the page.
I just missed it the first time around, since SMNC allowed old accounts with their bonus. At least I hope so, I havent logged into SMNC yet to check.
Grabbed code 153 for the SRTT dlc. Thanks Tony. Bringing some awesome value to community.
So true.
And now, I wait for Amazon to flip SR:TT at $12.49...
[taps foot impatiently...]
Tony, can you also kindly confirm that the expansion key will be steamable?
I would also like to know this. Will the Napoleonic Wars DLC activate on Steam? The store website does not mention this.
I would also like to know this. Will the Napoleonic Wars DLC activate on Steam? The store website does not mention this.
I bought it and it does not activate on Steam. I read that you can take your key from the steam copy, DL the non-steam version from their site, and activate it with the steam key and then add the Napoleonic Wars expansion to it so that is what I'm going to do.

Picked up The Walking Dead and its downloading now. Thanks for the Steam match Tony. Also love the Quantum Conundrum price, would have picked that up if I didn't already have it.

Interested in quantum conundrum but waiting for season pass.

Will be picking up walking dead on amazon to support Tony vs Steam.

Are you going to match serious Sam second encounter legend of the beast dlc?

Also any opinions on the other mount and blades? I think I read somewhere that if you war and there is no point in getting the original. And I heard fire and sword was disappointing when it launched. Any cags have an opinion?
So for the walking dead, do you just pay once and you get all 5 seasons eventually?
Yeah, the price that you see if for all 5 episodes. As the episodes come out, you will be able to play them.
So for the walking dead, do you just pay once and you get all 5 seasons eventually?
You get all 5 episodes for Season 1 eventually. They'll probably all be out by Halloween.

Episode 3 is rumored for the middle of next month.

That's the same thing I heard. I was able to download the game from the dev's site and activate using it my steam key. DLing Napoleonic DLC right now to add to it. I heard those two are great. Napoleonic is multiplayer only I think.
Does anyone have any idea how long the $20 ArmA 2 price will be good for?
I believe it is the deal of the week so it will be good through next Saturday nite (approximately midnight PST).

Tony, any chance you'll carry Two Worlds 2 anytime soon? I want to play that but given their restrictive DRM, I'm not going to buy it unless I have Amazon's key replacement backing me up.

The steam forums talk about 3 activation limit that appears to be a bit too touchy on hardware changes.

thanks.

Can anyone give a brief review of QC? I'm not very into platformers, but I enjoyed Trine and the style of QC looks cute and fun.

I just did some quick napkin math and while I've bought more from Steam, it's mostly little stuff (including DLCs for games I bought at amazon). Amazon has a $23 lead in amount spent and you're leading by miles in customer satisfaction :applause:

On a side-note I need to apologize for buying Borderlands GOTY from steam, but the 4-pack made it $5.62 for a savings of $2 :/

OK, so I was able to DL and install Warband and use the free Steam key Tony posted on here.

Now the problem, I DLed the Napoleonic Wars from Amazon, installed, but when I tried to play it turns out the version Amazon DLs is outdated by a lot. So now I have to go and DL the latest version directly from their site in order to play because all the servers are running the current version.
So, what's the DRM on the Amazon version of ARMA II CO?
I don't recall any blatant DRM (if any at all). And it would have popped up since I ended up installing each game like 4-5 times before I figured it out.
If this is all we're getting this week, it's rather underwhelming compared to earlier this month :(
I keep waiting for more bundles or even some new deals but.. well, maybe tomorrow?

They can't run massive promos all the time. They just had some big ones in May and then earlier this month/last week. Certainly more often than Valve does.

Yeah, I mean they ran great promos the first two weeks of July, so that's as long as the Steam sale. The May sale was weeks long too and pretty great too. And they've had pretty great weeklys here and there. Plus Saint's Row III is coming up as a weekly I assume and I'm sure Tony will be pulling other things from his sleeves.
anticipation for saints row is rising, must resist steam! We're still hoping/thinking its $10 right?
my finger is ready
They can't run massive promos all the time. They just had some big ones in May and then earlier this month/last week.
Based on "the month of July" I was just surprised to see all the bundles and specials (the top banner selections) disappear without replacement and the sale pages drop from 4 pages to 2. I was expecting a slow down but not that much of one.

But, hey, it is what it is and I'm certainly not making a fuss about it. Maybe they'll add more or maybe not. Only mentioned it because it came up and it seemed on topic.

Edit: [Removed so I don't confuse anyone with bad info]
I was under the impression that every copy of Just Cause 2 requires Steamworks.
It is Steamworks. I think they might require a Steam version for the multiplayer mod, because all other copies are pirated..
Can anyone give a brief review of QC? I'm not very into platformers, but I enjoyed Trine and the style of QC looks cute and fun.
I'm only 1 hour into the game and so far its okay, I'd compare it more to Portal than regular platformers which makes sense since the developer of QC worked on the original portal. Basically the game takes place in a giant mansion and then it forces you into a locked room, you have to solve puzzles using shifting abilities to open a door and then you move onto the next one.

That's perfect, thanks! Chalk up another for Tony and Amazon :)

For anyone looking for a deal: I noticed last night that Amazon has all of the Crusader Kings II DLC for sale at 75% off, for anyone who has picked up Crusader Kings or any of the Paradox bundles, now is a great time to get the rest of the DLC if it interests you. Even if you got the Paradox pack with most of the DLC, there are two new DLC's that were not included: Sword of Islam and African Unit Pack that are currently discounted. Sword of Islam is $2.49 and African Unit Pack is $0.49, compared to Steam's sale of $5.99 for Sword of Islam.

This may be a price matching mistake, since this DLC was just released less than a month ago, or maybe Amazon is just too legit to quit.
I was under the impression that every copy of Just Cause 2 requires Steamworks.
My mistake then. I'm used to seeing a note on the Amazon page about it and didn't see one. I'll pull my comment so no one gets confused.

Thanks for the heads up. Picked them both up. Steam had the same price the day Crusader Kings was a daily. I assume amazon matched and forgot to turn it off?

Yeah, I just noticed theres a "songs of the Caliph" DLC too, if youre into the songs. I never saw Sword of Islam that low, but I did notice the other DLC was on sale (still is, but only 40% off).

What's taking SR3 so long to flip? The longer it takes to flip, the more money flows out of my Summer Sale budget an into Valve's wallet instead of Amazon's.

Tony,
Frequent lurker, occasional poster here. Thans for the QC deal - I'd wanted this and was disappointed by the Steam deal.

Cheers!

Do you guys know how well Saints Row TT would run on a lower end PC? I have a nice PC at home but I'll be dorming with my laptop (which is a 2 GHz i7, 6 GB RAM, Nvidia 525M). Would it run decent enough?

There's sort of a demo on the Steam store page. It's just for creating a character though. It's the best you're going to get I guess.
Hey guys,

So our Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/AmazonVideoGames
Is about to hit 100K people.

As a milestone celebration we've got some publishing partners that are going to participate in giveaways.

The first one is THQ with a "Special Ops Vehicle Pack" FOR Saint's Row The Third.

The thing is, they sent us a TON of codes so I thought I'd share the love here, on Reddit, and on Neogaf.

I'll likely just list a bunch of keys here in the thread, but I'm open to making this more fun and less likely for people to grab them in bulk and then not use them for themselves.

Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to accomplish this?

Cheers,
Tony
Using Steamgifts would be good :)
Are you going to match serious Sam second encounter legend of the beast dlc?
I'm hoping for this too. I understand Amazon isn't enthusiastic about discounting DLC though.

the 525m would hurt performance. i would not play using less than gts 450 or 550

I don't know why I am so antsy for SRTT.

I think seeing so much on Steam now and really wanting to play it yet I can't because I am waiting for Amazon is just building up...

You talk too much, and too little of it has any value to this thread. Tony already said when it would be, why you feel the need to keep posting about and asking stupid questions is baffling.

Go bitch elsewhere; maybe to MysterD who has said the same thing many more times than I have. That was actually the first time I made a comment like that about how darn long the SR3 price flip is taking.

Politely, fuck off.
