Pre-Order Borderlands 2 from us for 10% off and help me get a tattoo! Yes it activates on Steam!

I am a huge Borderlands 2 fan and I want this to be our best selling pre-order ever. So I've drawn a line in the sand. If, from now until launch, we take 40,000 more preorders than where we were on 7/2/2012 I will get a Borderlands tattoo on my back.

a heads up on bioshock, the game doesn't work like it should on windows 7, no sound and the game crashing constantly are really frustrating,

Really? I've logged about 10 hours on Bioshock on my Windows 7 PC with no issues. Do they start popping up later in the game?

Cheers,
Tony

when i start the game, the game starts fine, like the cutscene where the dude is sitting on the plain, after that cutscene when he is in the ocean the game has no sound at all, so i exit the game and start it again and the game gets stuck on the loading or if it load all of the sudden the game closes and a error message from windows pops up, i look it on google and plenty of people have had problems with this game on windows 7, is really frustrating tony!
all my drivers are up to date, my windows is up to date, is the first time im having problems with a game, not even with darksiders 2 i have had a problem, that game runs butter smooth for me, already contacted CS and they told me someone from the gaming department will contact me, i guess is just the waiting game now

this are my specs

GTX 580

Here is a fix for the no sound, refer to this thread, this worked for me I remember having this bug too, it has to do with having a realtek sound card more than likely (a lot of built in sound cards are based on this chips).

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1093192

Best of luck.

Specifically the post about disabling stereo mix. Otherwise follow the ini tweak post.

It must be you/your PC. Worked for me just fine, finished the game few days ago on Win7
There are known issues with BioShock 1 and Windows 7. All who have problems should look up BioShock Steam Forums for some workarounds.
Yeah the no sound is fixed by making a quick change to the volume settings in Windows 7. The game is definitely playable.
I already own the BioShocks, but I'm mega-interested in Spec Ops. Would anyone be interested in splitting one of the 2K packs?
i think a lot of people already have BS 1,2. i'm hoping spec ops will be cheap by itself at some point. the pack is still good if you don't have any of those.

Yeah, Bioshock bundle for steam has been offered by Amazon for $7.49 several times so I would not expect to get more than that, to be honest. I'm thinking you'd be able to get rid of them pretty quickly if you offered the bundle for $5 to $6 bucks since you might get someone who didn't want to bite at $7.49.

I definitely would not expect to get anyone to give you $10 for it and split it down the middle.

Same for GTA IV Complete. It's been offered for $7.49 before so I would not expect to get that much for it. I think a fair price for that one too would be $5 to 6 to try to catch people who didn't want to bite at $7.49.

And to be honest I think $5 is what you guys can reasonable expect for either one, though I definitely would not accept any less than that as it would be a lowball.

But you guys should post in the Steam Trade thread to see if anyone is willing to bite there.

I just bought the Desert Bundle and Darkness II. I have a feeling this sale is going to hurt me more than the Steam Summer sale and Gamersgate summer sale combined.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking a 50/50 split, but even so, you're right. Spec Ops for $20 is tempting in and of itself, even without the BioShockBonusGames.
I want the Desert pack, but already own Bioshock 1+2. Anyone want these games for $6?

Thanks,
Carl
I'll take them for $6.

Hmm, Darkness II is $10. I think that's the lowest I've seen it. $12 or $12.50 recently.

I'm tempted by Spec Ops: The Line. I'm not a big FPS fan, but I really enjoyed Borderlands and Bulletstorm. I think the Dubai setting really appeals to me.

Spec Ops is actually a third person shooter like Gears of War or Binary Domain, don't know if that makes a difference to you.

Same here if anyone is interested in Bioshock 1+2

Thanks for pointing that out; unfortunately I haven't played (or bought) either of those. Third person is less likely to make make me motion sick. That reminds me, I should give the steam demo a go to check for motion sickness.

Spec ops the line has a pretty interesting campaign, kinda like Apocalypse Now but not as gritty but still kinda depressinng, and it never really gave me any real motion sickness but i've been playing third person shooters for quite awhile. All three of these games are worth it if ur more of a single player/ story person

Yeah, I really enjoyed the campaign. Really liked how the moral choices were very organic, you could easy mistake some for random gameplay y'know?

Just wish anyone was playing the Co-Op mode that just got patched in...

Thank you for saying it had a demo. I'm so used to game developers NOT having demos I don't even check anymore.

I'd pay $5 for the Bioshocks and $5 each for 2 copies of Borderlands GOTY if anyone has extras they want to be rid of.

PM sent.

Oh man this is awesome. I was hoping Spec Ops went on sale again. I don't own either Bioshock on PC and never finished Bioshock 2 on PS3 so this $20 deal is perfect for me. Good looking out Tony.

Ha, I'm in the exact same situation. PS3 Bioshock 2, but I couldn't pass.

Spec Ops for $19.99 alone would have been crazy, this is just over the top!

Same here, except I've already played through both Bioshocks on 360. I guess now I have a chance to one day play them again on PC

Any one having issues with the pricing on The Darkness II alone, earlier it showed at 9,99 now it shows 24,99

I purchased it earlier for 9.99 so I can confirm it did work at one point.

Does anyone have an opinion on the quality of the PC port for Spec Ops? For $20 I will probably take a chance on the game, I just want to make sure the port isn't complete crap.

And I noticed that for the Bioshocks it says you get a game code, but Spec Ops is a download. Do I still get a download code for Spec Ops so I can get it through steam?

I don't see that price....

yea, for the right price i am

Thanks for that! I buy things for single player / story. Hmm maybe I will bite on Binary Domain and Gears of War next time I see them.
