From Electronic Arts:

Games that activate on Origin

Per MysterD's suggestion:

Here's the Steam Key Activation Page List.

NOTE: This list is incomplete so if you're unsure you still want to ask in the thread.

I'll be posting this a few times in this thread. I also post this regularly whenever people ask about activation limits with Amazon Game Downloads:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_200205020_times?nodeId=200205020&#times

How many times can I download my games or software?

You can download an unlimited number of times for personal use. To re-download, go to Your Games and Software Library through the "Your Digital Items" link at the top of the screen and click the download button.
Can I download and install to multiple computers?

For video games: Each game manufacturer has a different policy on how many installations are allowed with each product key. If you run out of installations for the product key you originally purchased from Amazon, please contact Customer Service and we will happily provide you with another key at no additional charge. You can install an unlimited number of times for personal use, however additional copies of the game for friends or family must be purchased separately.
Hmm, how do those mega packs work? Do you just get one exe and then run that and pick the game from inside it or is there a separate exe for each?

To be honest I would really greatly prefer Steamworks but if it's one exe I might go for it and just manually add it however I am not going to manually add 100 games to Steam. :p
Yeah it is 1 .exe for each "pack" so 4 .exes, then there are 3-4 stand alone .exes so a total of 4-8 can't remember the exact number right now.

Cheers,
Tony
Just got confirmation, we'll have Sonic Gen at $7.49, Sonic 4 Episode 1 at $4.99 and that huge grouping of Sega Genesis games at $7.49 very soon. We'll have some other Sega stuff for sale at the same time, I'm just finalizing everything.

Cheers,
Tony
Sold for Sonic 4 and the dreamcast versions.
We don't sell Paragon Points lol, but I just woke the hamsters up. I put the pricing in place BF 3 hours ago...apparently the little guys were slacking today. Check back in 30.

Cheers,
Tony
But without those Paragon points, how do I talk down Wrex on Virmire, or save the Rachni Queen on Noveria? Oh noes!

Good deals on the Sega games, and this. Very rad. :applause: Hopefully one of these games can help shake off the bad aftertaste of the ME3 ending.

Talking about Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.... why Pandora Tomorrow is always out of sale (here and in other stores)? Is there any problem with that game?

What about Sonic Generations: Casino Night DLC?
Will this DLC be on sale w/ Sonic Gen [base game], too?

Take it up w/ UbiSoft on Pandora Tomorrow.
Same goes for Hitman: Contracts w/ Eidos, as well.

POST EDITED - due to me screwing-up on why PT isn't available:
PT isn't available due to issues w/ it running on modern hardware. See a few posts down.
Sorry about the screw-up.
Seriously - people should just tell Ubisoft to fix the issues.

Most stores DON'T SELL Hitman: Contracts game anymore b/c there is music in there that was licensed, yet never got their contract renewed for usage.
And also tell Eidos to wisen-up and either just remove the track out, replace the song w/ some other piece of new music, or something...

I hope this isn't a totally dumb question, but I looked through the 1st post and various links on Amazon (the main DD page, weekly deals, digital deals, etc) -- is there one place where all of these random games going on sale (or PM'd) get listed? (I.e., the Dreamcast collection, SSFIV, etc) I'd like to be able to browse these mid-week sales a bit more at my leisure than trying to remember to go back to page 331 on this thread after work to start reading about them again. :)

Incredible, I didn't know that.

Thanks for the info.

BTW, I was wrong about Pandora Tomorrow.
I'm so sorry about that.
It has issues w/ modern hardware - and UbiSoft never cleaned it up.
More info here on Pandora Tomorrow's issues w/ modern hardware w/ the game's lighting and shadow system.
Regardless, if you want it fixed, you'd have to bug UbiSoft.
Or hope some modder has fixed the issue [not to my knowledge] or will fix the issue [if they still own the game and want to tinker w/ it.]

Hitman: Contracts - Enthusiasts Group on Steam
That's the info on the legal issue w/ the music song "Immortal" by Clutch that is in H:C, but never got renewed and the group trying to rally to get something done about the ordeal.

FYI clarified this in the OP but the Sega Genesis pack has 48 games, not 60 ( I thought the number was 58) my bad!
BF3 for $29.99. Check it out.
Back to Karkand DLC is $7.49, as well.

Me, still waiting for price-drops.
TOO many more DLC's planned...

God, I miss the old days of releasing full-blown awesome expansion packs...

Aw man, I so would have preferred to buy BF3 from Amazon than directly from Origin - oh well, guess I'll wait a bit next time for the price match.
Aw man, I so would have preferred to buy BF3 from Amazon than directly from Origin - oh well, guess I'll wait a bit next time for the price match.
Why is that?

Did you buy ME3 from Origin when they were giving BF3 w/ it for FREE for that one day or so?

Or was ME3 disappointing?
Does that have to do w/ the DLC controversy? The endings? Or what?

Plz...NO SPOILERS!

No I bought it yesterday straight from Origin for the same price. But I have amazon credit so I could have used that.

No ME3, I loved ME1 and thought ME2 was a let down, not in a big rush to play ME3 after the demo. I'll play it eventually but I have other things to do now - maybe I'll wait for the GOTY edition or something similar.
I ran into that same issue with Splinter Cell Conviction yesterday and had to play around with the FOV setting in the game's configuration files in order to resolve it.
...whoa, totally jumping on Generations at that price. awesome.
warning to those looking forward to the Dreamcast collection - Crazy Taxi doesn't have the same music. copyrighted music from the original (e.g., Offspring) isn't on the collection sadly, so that half of it is gone. honestly, the dreamcast collection isn't that good as it's just 4 games, of which the only one that's pretty good and isn't gimped is Space Channel (Sonic Adventures really, really hasn't aged well and was never that good to begin with either). i'd wait until Sega makes a real Dreamcast collection, give it a few years for the next gen to roll around.

I gave in and bought that dlc over a month ago from amazon, couldnt wait :D Anyway where can I see all the sales people are talking about apart from the front page ones..

A heads up for tomorrow, Tony: the Steam weekend sale will be Dungeon Defenders. The base game and all DLC except the Lost Shards bundle will be half off.

The Haunted: Hell's Reach is a bit of a guilty pleasure, though I'd strongly recommend reading the control info before you start and get overwhelmed.

I'd also not recommend anything Medium or above your 1st time through unless you want to die. You might also want to consider looking at a youtube video of the boss if you're serious about beating it.

I personally like to use Jacob and hear all the stuff he shouts out as I'm killing everyone.

It also activates on steam.

For those on the fence, here's a nice short video showing gameplay.

KoA going down to $30 would be awesome!

On another note, I ran into an issue patching The Settlers: Rise of an Empire which a moderator from Ubisoft's forums seems to have solved.

Instead of using the Update launcher, I grabbed the 1.71 patch and deleted the s6patch.ini file before running it.
Dungeon defenders is ALWAYS on sale LOL
I haven't played it since they made nightmare mode impossible and tabbed the user base as their in-game police force. It gets old having 12 year olds cry that you are a hacker because you worked your butt off to find a 240 upgrade set of gear on Misty NM Surv and your tower attack and speed are both 1300-ish.

Then they report you to Trendy and on and on it goes.

Such a great game with an absolutely horrible user base. About like Left 4 Dead 2 these days.

If you also have the expansion, you will need to delete the s6patch.ini from it's folder as well. If you look at the details running during the patch, it actually hangs after finding an error with the .ini. This is the .ini in the expansion folder. It looks as if it patches fully, but the amount of data that scrolls past after deleting the expansion .ini is obviously much more, also there isn't the error message, and the patch completes successfully. Delete both .ini files, then run the patch again.

How the file structure appears on my Win7 x64:

Program Files X86\Ubisoft\THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire\base\bin\s6patch.ini
Program Files X86\Ubisoft\THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire\extra1\bin\s6patch.ini

I just did this yesterday.

The bundle of all 4 (plus a couple of standalones) is $7.50. So you get 48 games for $7.50.

BF3 is a fantastic game and to be fair their map packs or more like expansion packs with 4 new maps 10 weapons and variety of vehicles and 10 new assignments which took me a while to complete. The disappointing thing is the next DLC isn't due out til June.

Its not steamable, the single player ranked was good to me. Its gfwl.

It kinda sucks that giftcards are automatically applied and even if you choose a cc as the payment option it reverts to using the giftcard/promo balance. I was saving it for something big and between this and a few mp3 purchases it's been chipping away at it. It only seems to happen with digital purchases and not physical ones, odd.

Hey guys, FYI as I've stated before we're in deep conversation around price matching. We're taking a hard look at all cases where the publisher is slashing prices on their own products. This is one that we aren't going to match. To give you insight into how the business works, we still pay the publisher $X for every unit sold...obviously this isn't case with publishers selling their own stuff so it sometimes make it cost prohibitive to match this stuff.

Again, just being 100% transparent here.

Hey Tony,
I picked up 10 games on the first day of the Ubisoft promo, would like to get GRAW1 also, but now I don't have a good option for the free game. Any chance that you'll include more games before this ends on saturday?
BTW, keep up the good work!
