How many times can I download my games or software?

You can download an unlimited number of times for personal use. To re-download, go to Your Games and Software Library through the "Your Digital Items" link at the top of the screen and click the download button.
Can I download and install to multiple computers?

For video games: Each game manufacturer has a different policy on how many installations are allowed with each product key. If you run out of installations for the product key you originally purchased from Amazon, please contact Customer Service and we will happily provide you with another key at no additional charge. You can install an unlimited number of times for personal use, however additional copies of the game for friends or family must be purchased separately.

Feel your pain!

I don't know how many times I've had to manual massage a broken GFWL update to get to play a game. But I'm a sucker for the games, cause I love 'em, so I put up with it.

You realize you are asking the guy for $1 (10 vs 11, unless you were planning on using all those coupons on other stuff?). Not saying it wouldn't be nice... but you may want to just jump on the 11 dollar deal before they sell out of keys at this price ;)

You should have received emails with the codes at the time of purchase of other games in the past.

No I already bought the game so I can't use my 5 dollars promotion code. Does that make sense?

Every game I bought I have neither download it or install it. My internet is too slow so I won't be touching any of those games until the 9th when I head up to school.

Got Rome: Total War and Assassin's Creed for FREE! Thanks, Tony and Amazon!

Was hoping to pick up Shogun 2 for $2.50, but I'm not super bummed. It was more of a "holy crap that's super cheap" thing than a "I really want that game" thing.

They are actually tied to your account, just buy a qualifying game and it will take the 5 off.

same question as user above. Does Need for Speed Hot Pursuit activate on Steam or Origin? Can I install this game without using Origin or Steam? Are there still a lot of players playing online on the PC version?

I gotta disagree. 4x MSAA + 4x SGSSAA + 1080p or higher resolution makes the game look great.

While I do not have Amazon DL version - it probably should, yes.
Most modern EA games activate on Origin - even some of those recent ones that you can buy on Steam should activate on Origin.
My copies of NFS: Hot Pursuit and Shift [which I bought from D2D for download] activated up onto Origin w/ no problem.

If you keep auto-update on Steam turned on for some games like Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, you won't be able to mod the game out.
If you want that game to run V:TM-BL on modern OS's like Win 7 on Vista, you're best off using Wesp's Unofficial Patches, since it has some engine fixes inside of it.

Some games in their Steam updates have caused problems for many gamers - just go see Dead Island, Skyrim and Rage threads on Steam forums, for starters.

1. Don't want it to update for the same reason certain mod only work with certain past version. Such as GTA IV enhancer mod. Sometime updating is a bad thing.

B. How do I snooze I lose? I can understand the $10 but if I had bought Dues EX now I could have gotten it for $11. So buying it later would be better than buying it earlier. It would be more like I lose cause I didn't snooze :drool:

I don't think Medieval 2: Total War uses Steam, either. That also ain't on the list.

The recent Creative Assembly developed TW games requiring Steam are Empire: Total War, Napoleon: Total War, and Total War: Shogun 2.

EDIT:
This post helps confirm that Amazon download version of Rome: Total War doesn't activate on Steam.

A little disappointed I missed out on Shogun 2 (which I bought earlier from Amazon, oh well) and AC.

got witcher 2 for 15 after my coupon. got shogun 2 from steam last week, so, at least i didnt miss out on a cheap sale on it.

It might be on sale later since it currently is not available. Make sure to pick it up when you get the chance, its the best game in the series since Rome.

I'm trying to buy Trine which is 5.03 and I'm trying to use my promotional amazon code for 5$...but i'm getting an error that my code has already been claimed....

when i go to Dead Space 2 download on checkout screen is saying that my promotional code is already applied and it's 4.99....

i contacted Amazon chat support and all they can do was to send an email to game download specialist

any suggestion?
