Are you shitting me? I've wanted one of these for a long time, and as soon as I sell my racing wheel they go on sale. GAY.

Thanks for the help with the link!:) I purchased this with PG3 for $169 shipped. I plan to use the $60 on Burnout Paradise when it's released.

Yikes, this was an evil thread, don't have a PS2/3 or an xBox/360, don't own a PC racing wheel.... but I ordered the chair anyway, with GTR2: Realism Defined for PC, figure maybe we can use the chair with my son's Gamecube racing wheel and games. Crazy? Probably.
Are Amazon deals legit? I would purchase it if I know I'll receive the $60 gift card for sure.
No, amazon is a shady website. People who actually receive what they bought from Amazon are very lucky.

lol why does amazon have to specify on its description that it's made with a non-flammable material?

just curious...

I'm sure I'll receive the seat + game. The only thing I'm concerned about is the $60 credit voucher. I don't want to spend $20+ on a game I don't want for the voucher to save $40-. Get it? Good.

I was just being a smartass, no need to be offended

And it should be fine, I don't think amazon wouldn't honor the deal, and even if they didn't somehow they'd make it up by giving you a gift card or something.

These look nice but I really only do Ridge Racer 6 and I fudging suck at that with a wheel. I need to sell my wheel on Craig's List or something...

I need a gaming seat/video rocker. I'd also like this for when I play Forza 2, but it might be a bit too big to use when I want to play regular games.

Nice deal, but the only racing game on the list that I don't have that peaks my interest is Sega Rally Revo. That and I can't use the damn MS wheel 'cause MS refuses to get off their ass and get back to me on the retro-fit situation.

Don't know for sure, but from the pictures it looks like you might be able to disconnect the front portion of the frame leaving just the seat.

Ordered the chair yesterday with free super saver shipping... and already received an e-mail saying it's on its way. :bouncy:

I read where it does become just a game chair without ext.

Anyone with the microsoft 360 wheel know if the addon to make the wheel fit is easily available?
Edit: never mind, I have to save money for christmas gifts so no spending money on myself for now :(

I've decided to buy the seat, but I can't decide which racing game to get for the 360. I already have Forza 2 and I'll be getting PGR3 when I buy the MS steering wheel. I plan to use the $60 certificate to buy Burnout Paradise.

So my main choices are:
PGR4
Burnout Revenge
Dirt
NFS: Prostreet

Why not Sega Rally Revo?

But out of those I'd say anything but Burnout since you plan to get the new one anyways.

Dirt isn't very good and NFS isn't either. You won't play PGR3 if you buy PGR4 and Burnout while fun isn't a great wheel game.

I'd either get PGR4 and just skip PGR3 or look into Sega Rally, which while not a AAA game, it is fun.

Definitely PGR4. I loved the franchise since the first glorious one on the original Xbox ;). I bought Sega Rally Revo because was the only decent cheap racing game that I didn't already owned from the Amazon list.

I have used Amazon around 7 times this past month, spending a lot of my hard earned money and not once have I had a problem with them. I'm sure if for some reason you have a problem, they will fix it as fast as they can.

Same here. All yesterday I was struggling with which game to buy, because didn't really want any of them for the prices they had. Damn, this sucks.

I know that the price of the HD-DVD players fluctuate a lot. I am considering ordering it anyway and then hoping that the price drops and then price matching. I don't think I have the stomach for it, though. The most painful part is that I had it in my cart last night before my wife kicked me off the PC :(

i am getting mine today ..after i ordered it sunday
amazon free shipping rocks ( just this time) lol

I waited too long as well. I was debating over signing up for a amazon visa to get the extra $30 off. I won't be buying this for sure now unless the price drops back down.

sorry to disagree but sega rally revo, if you played the demo you'd know its very arcadey which is not good for a wheel and you will probably regret that...since you got forza its really all you need, its easily the best racing game hands down

now if only they would add support for the g25 then forza would be amazing but thats why i need a ps3 for gran turismo when it comes out

i think you need to get this in order for it to fit right for the 360 wheel. not sure if they ship to the US though.

Anyone who has one of these seats using it with the new 360 wireless wheel that was just released? I think it might be the same dimensions as the old one, but I need a way to secure the wheel.

Did you guys order the adapter plate (which I have only found on one US site for $50 so far) or did you do a custom job?

I don't have an old one to compare it to. It looks about the same though.
