Amazon pre-order credit reimbursement?

I bought medal of honor recently and decide that it may not be for me. Worse I can do is send this back to them.

Now the only problem is I used $20 as part of my pre-order from Metroid other, so I paid $40 for it. Will they refund the $20 promo code if I get a refund?

They don't do so usually. Maybe a nice CSR, but even then, not likely.

Since you wasted $20 credit on it but the game also comes with a new $20 credit, wouldn't it be easier for you to trade it in or sell it for cost ($40)? That's like you break even, still having a $20 credit towards our next game.

If you used a gift card, you'll get the money back into your gift card balance.

If you used a promotional code for the purchase, which is what you said that you used, you won't get it back.
