Now that Amazon.com is directly selling games again, is anyone aware of their preorder pricing strategy? Specifically, I was looking at the DS games:
Contact: $29.99
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...bs_1/002-3136899-6020041?ie=UTF8&s=videogames
and
Final Fantasy III: $33.99
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...bs_2/002-3136899-6020041?ie=UTF8&s=videogames
At all other online retailers I checked, Contact was 34.99 to preorder, and Final Fantasy III was 39.99 to preorder. Will Amazon maintain these prices once the games are released, or will they increase to the standard MSRP? Just poking around a bit, they had a similar deal posted for Star Fox Command. Will this be a store-wide policy of discounted preorders? Any help would be appreciated.
