Amazon preorder question

Potentially a dumb question, but still. I'm thinking of ordering a game that will be released in July, and a book that will be released in June, and I can't remember how it works with preorders with different release dates. When the book is released will they just charge me for the cost of the book or will they charge me for the full order then?

Unless they have changed their policy very, very recently, it's charge at time of shipment. So the two items would be charged at separate times.
