Amazon Price Matching Thread - "There's No I in Team"

Hey guys, I decided to make this thread because there have been numerous times where I and other CAGs have hoped/requested for Amazon to price match other retailers prices. To my understanding it takes quite a few requests for Amazon to consider price matching another store's product. So with that said, let's help each other out by sending in price matching requests for consoles, games, and accessories we each want. This could help bring the CAG community together as a whole and convince "lurkers" to participate in helping us all out too. Also, I know we all stack up Amazon credit due to Pre-Order deals, Kindle Gift Card exchanges, the recent $5 deal, etc. so this thread could help us use up that built up credit.

This will be like an Honor System. Every time someone posts a price match request each participant is expected to help out. Let's get this rollin'!! :D

I see why people like Amazon to price match,
but if I like a deal, I'm just going to go with whoever comes up with it in the first place, before it's out of stock.

If a company has the creativity to come up with a sale that gets me interested, thats who I'm going to buy from.
 
Call me misinformed, but I thought amazon doesn't price match? Every time I try, I get shot down :( or is it YMMV?

Amazon will price match with the right amount of requests (i dont know the number).
All you have to do is scroll down the product page and click where it says "tell us about a lower price." under Product Details.

I don't think it's based on number of requests or SD would have everything pm'ed.
 
Maybe it's just me, but for once I'd like to see Amazon come up with its OWN goddamn deal instead of PM'ing everyone else halfway through the sales week.

The Batarang controller is price matched as of now, $30.28 (including the 5.28 shipping cost for TRU). I bit on it only because it's shaped more like a 360 controller, and I hate the PS3 controllers shape.
 
for pming the vita...how do you write what the lower price is? I mean its 249.99 and a 20 dollar giftcard. so do I just say 229.99 or what?

i'm sure the marketing team at Amazon is smart enough to realize what we're trying to say, hopefully.

Really hope to see FF13-2 at that price on Amazon. Want that DLC.
 
Perhaps you should also add the PS3 version of FF13 2 to your original post. I've already submitted price match on both versions. Amazon has a bad habit of running a sale on just one version of a cross platform game.
