Found a cheap bluetooth keyboard/trackpad combo that I’m kinda iffy on, and there’s a pretty nice deal on an Aukey powerbank I’ve been wanting so I grabbed that, too.

Prime Day sales have never been good outside of very fine niches. Like PSP clearance, I guess.

They used to have great deals but yeah likely niche. Like I've gotten a few box sets of tv shows through them for 10 to 20 bucks and 5 to 8 for individual seasons. And back when the vita was a thing while this wasn't prime day deal but closer to black Friday they had the 16gb memory card for 19.99 or something. And PS3 controllers for cheap too along with RPGs like ff13-3 ninokuni atelier Ayesha and valkyria chronicles.

Prices do seem garbage tier. Hate to condemn though. Surely somebody is finding something they want. Maybe a keyboard, mouse, or headphones. Sure as hell are enough to choose from.
 
Didn't get much.

Amazon matched Target's $14.99 price on :ps4: Journey to the Savage Planet, plus I had a $5 promo to use.

Also picked up an 80 card Switch game case. I've been eyeing this for a while and was happy to see it get a lightning deal for 20% off ($16.99 -> $13.59): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QST39HW/

Most cartridge cases lock the games in with plastic so you have to pry them out every time. I prefer this elastic band type.

Nice to score some PC stuff at pre-covid prices, but these deals don't illicit the same feelings of accomplishment that knocking over a kid in the way of your deal used to 

 
Had to double check earlier and Mortal Kombat 11's prices are different when you click on them.   The standard edition for PS4/XB1 is actually $14.99 for prime members and the Armageddon bundle is $34.99.   It doesn't reflect that on that search page.  

Figured $15 for the vanilla version was worth it and just wait on the DLC to drop in price(WB games DLC usually does too).  Already have it waiting at the nearest hub for delivery tomorrow.

I don't support GOTY/complete editions unless everything (or almost everything) is on disc. I do give props to WB Games as the company does an excellent job releasing complete editions for its Mortal Kombat and Injustice games.

I thought about biting on the recent Armageddon bundle BUT since WB Games is going to release another upgraded (presumably complete) edition next year on PS4 and PS5, I'm going to just wait to see if those are all on-disc. I'll support that release if all the new DLC is there, which based on WB's past releases, should be the case.

The Aftermath Edition has all the DLC on the disc until May 2020, except for the Aftermath skin pack. Which is a code in the case, as the skin pack wasn't ready for release when they put that out.

The Ultimate Edition isn't coming out next year, it's actually next month(Nov. 17th). So in the span of 6 months, they've put out 2 versions that were supposedly "ultimate" edtiions at the time they were/are released.

Thanks! I'm not getting a PS5 this year, so by "next year," I was referring to the PS4 edition, which is coming out in January 2021.

Hmmm ... if Aftermath drops significantly, I might be willing to just buy that and forgo the additional Kombat Pack 2 since I only care about the single-player experience, and it looks like the extras don't really do much to change that.

Still, since WB plans to release Ultimate on PS5 this year and PS4 next January, I might just wait to see if everything will be on disc. I'm willing to wait as I've waited this long.
