This is "do it at your own risk" situation thats covered in the new Trading and Feedback rules. Meaning no feedback is to be left for this , as well as a special warning that this isn't what Amazon designed Prime to be used for.
If they get wise, and kick everyone out of Prime - don't expect us mods to worry about getting you your money back (assuming you were not the original Prime purchaser).

A year of Amazon Prime costs $80.

Amazon Prime has a feature where you can invite four other people to share the subscription with you. The Amazon terms say that the people need to live at the same address, but several people from slickdeals say this is not the case.

So people get together in groups of 5, paypal $16 over to one trusted guy. The trusted guy buys the prime membership and adds the other four as household members sharing the subscription.

Then everyone in the group gets Amazon Prime for a year, for $16.

The initial purchaser needs these three pieces of information from the people who are joining:

1) Birth date (Month and Day only)
2) Name associated with the Amazon account that wants to be added to prime
3) The e-mail address associated with your Amazon account that wants to be added to prime

The people joining the account need the birth date (month and day only) of the originating account member to accept the invitation.

Not anymore risky than any of the others. I could get your money and then add you to my prime and then cancel....It's all risky!

I renew every year, I just normally pay the $79 without sharing.

I'm not sure if you have to resend the invites or not, but really it's not that hard to type in a name, email address and birthdate.

Besides that.........Mine are all gone!

Well I'm from SD where the info was ORIGINALLY taken from so thats why we are HERE getting the group cuz u cant grop up on SD anymore SO if u want it or not because we almost got 5. Just because we are NEW CAG people doesnt mean we dont have feedback other places!


Someone took this idea from the site i'm on, (SD) so u go where u can group up at!

Forgod sakes its only $16 .....

I need prime to get my baby's food delivered withing 2 days instead of 7-10 ya know!

Yeah i'm up for this if someone wants to start one, or i can start one if others want to join in. I need this real soon and not sure when yusuke will log in again. I have refs on other sites just an fyi since i'm new here.
 
Yeah, I see that. I could start one if the noobs trust me. I just don't have itrader cred here. I completed one deal like 3 years ago and was too lazy to go through the feedback section.

Otherwise, I can provide my ebay seller name as background. If any CAG Vet would like to start one I would join them.

what info do you need. I might be interested. BUT are you sure we can all have different addresses. and there is no way my CC info can be ripped off right.

all you get is my screen name NOthing more (like CC info. )

Yeah thats my worry, it would seem that the CC info would be saved and that the other 4 of the group would have access to this... maybe doing the invite a family thing remedies this issue.
