Amazon Prime No-Rush Credits can be used to buy digital Xbox or PlayStation Store gift cards.

No, but really, a lot of people know this on here, lol.

Thanks for reiterating though, some people might have not known.

It was mentioned in the 20% off Prime thread, but I think is fair to post by itself because a lot of people don't know it and it can save a lot.

What year is this? This has been on Amazon for years
2016. I found out about it this year. Why didn't you tell me? :)

I've been wasting my credits on movies all this time.

And it is not only limited to the cards. Any digital purchace ie digital games, digital dlc add ons, etc. I'm using the the credit I have on the dying light dlc bringing it to 14.99, good since it's supposed to be 29.99. They still have it listed at 19.99, though. Thanks op

This is why it is working on digital video game purchases now when you click no rush shipping:

Get a $1 credit for digital books, music, movies, TV shows, apps, video games, and software

Choose FREE No-Rush Shipping and receive a $1 credit towards your next purchase or rental of select Amazon Video, digital music, eBooks, apps, digital video games, or digital software when this order ships.

Last year in December they were offering $2 credit for no rush shipping because of all the holidays ordering. I got a $10 psn credit pretty easy because of it.

Use this link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?tag=cheapassgam08-20&ie=UTF8&docId=1000296831#gc

Then Click on enter your code it will show a breakdown of available credit, whatever shows in Software/Video Games can be used on digital Video Games. I'm not sure where I ran across this link but I've had it bookmarked for years as a way to keep track of MP3 credits they gave me when I bought Vinyl or a CD. I like it because it shows your credits in Video, MP3, Software, & Kindle separate from your gift card credit.

Hop e it helps.

Thanks. I have 1 penny.

Thanks OP.  Unfortunetly I fucked up because none of my credit was used toward the purchase.  In chat now..

Update:  Amazon's response.  "I have checked and see that you have ordered the Games Digital Code, which is not eligible for the promotion. ‎10‎:‎45‎:‎01‎ ‎PM

Mahesh: That is the reason, the promotional credit did not apply."

Well that sucked I just wasted 10 bucks.  I had 5 in mp3 credit and 5 in video credit.  Nothing was applied to the digital xbox code link from above.  Amazon would not return the digital purchase, which is understandable.

The software/video games credit was the only one showing as being applied for me (in this case, everyone). It will say that you have a discount before you hit payment. Video and mp3 credit doesn't apply.

You sure it wasn't $3 promotional credit toward digital purchases? The ones I received were all $3 toward digital purchases and then $5 toward home improvement. Didn't need anything for home improvement and ended up forgetting about the credit, then a month later I needed to replace my refrigerator filter and bought a 2-pack which ended up being freeeeeee!

It would be nice if Amazon let you hold on to these credits like you could with your gift card balance, but it always seems like (at least in my case) these credits have a 3-4 month experation date on them. So I always have to look at my old emails that the credit notices were sent with, to see when they expire.

I had no idea this was sitting out there.   Quick 10% off a $10 PSN card is appreciated, thanks!

Too bad the MP3 credits can't be applied, not sure what I'd ever do with them.

Nintendo as well, found out pre-ordering Pokemon Blue for 3DS.

Now here is the real question, if you have credits and you pre-order something digital, do you loose the credit if they expire in that same time? or are they locked in?

Guys I don't know if its because I like gcu or because it bothers me when someone doesn't admit they are wrong about something, but I literally just got upset and let another user on n4g know it, because he responded to me claiming gcu also does NOT combine with sale (I know, lol) and that gcu is 20% "preorder only" and Amazon "is preorder plus 2 weeks."

Dam moron lol

Thats all folks just wanted to share that lol

I don't even glance at these potential credits anymore once I discovered they expire so quickly. If Amazon wants to save real $ by me downgrading my shipping, then the fake digital vapor $ i get in return shouldn't be so restricted. I would do it all the time if I didn't have to keep score of when I had to use them by, since half the time my boxes just sit around until the weekend anyway.
