I remember last year there was some method that allowed you to roll over your Amazon Prime free student accout for another year. Does anyone remember how we did that and if it still works, I just tried ordering Tekken X Street Fighter only to discover that my Prime student subscription has expired.

No , you would have to make a new account and use the 6 month trial instead now.

The old glitch was posted too many times on the internet so Amazon fixed it.
 
You could rejoin for half price. Worth it in my eyes especially since I have a kindle fire for their video service now.
 
Since you let it expire I dont know how that works but I just resubscribed the other day for $39. I just resubscribed one day before my Prime was set to expire. You might be shit out of luck if you actually let it expire? I dunno try it and if there's a problem maybe talk to Amazon CS about it.

I let my Prime Student expire then re-upped for half price a few months later. They kept sending me emails asking me to re-up at half price.
