ALSO
(i) One-Day and Two-Day shipping are options we use to determine your estimated delivery date (these options do not reflect product availability or our estimated shipping date);
(ii) we may ship the products by ground or air at our discretion (these options do not correspond to any carrier-branded shipping services);
(iii) our carriers usually do not pick-up or deliver packages on weekends or holidays;
(iv) we do not guaranty delivery of products within the estimated transit time or by the estimated delivery date.
and dont you get free shipping all the time when you spend over 25??
so it sounds that even if you have this there is no 100% sure your going to get your items 2 days
It seems to me like it sounds like a con. But I generally do the least of my online purchasing at Amazon. Horrible service and poor prices except on rare occasions.
All of last year I must have paid about $40-$50 from shipping at Amazon. But only $5 of it would be eligable for the discount. BEcause most of the shipping comes from ineligable stores like Z-shops (where shipping is usually factored into price anyway), TRU, and a few others.
Just take your purchases from last year and total up all your shipping costs. Then (this is important) total up shipping costs from Amazon only.
Unless you buy a lot of $10 items individually and regularly pay the $5 shipping fee instead of buying three items together and getting shipping for free, it's an absolutely worthless program. It's a con to get you to part with money.
It's a creative offer on their part, but not worth it for me.
I agree with Ackbar that this will probably not be worth it for many people. But consumers waste money on all kinds of stuff that aren't really worth it, so who knows?
This only seems to be worth it if you are someone always buying from Amazon. If I order from Amazon, it's usually over $25 and thus free shipping. I don't see how its really worth it.
